The rear wheel is set high right now. This was the recommended set-up for the lowest cut. I will try the lower back end set-up.
While the side mower can obviously give you large side loads while mowing straight ahead, I can get torsional loads on the three point if I turn too tight and the mower digs in. The side mower should have the same turning problem or worse!
Wow, bent the A frame. No obvious damage so far, I think. I have resorted to picking up the mower on the right angle turns and backing up. The HST makes it a fast operation.
With the front end raised I may be able to get away with a tighter turn.
