looking at 790 but worried about slope of hill

I am considering buying a 790 with 160 hrs on the meter, model 70 front loader, 3 point mount finishing deck, JD bush hog,  and roto tiller, sun roof and turf tires for $14000, but am worried about the slope of the hill I mow.  It is almost 20 degrees where I measured so far and the tractor seems to have a narrow stance.

Any thoughts on the danger and if the tractor could take the hill going across?

Is there any safe way to widen the wheel base?

What about the value of the deal?

I currently use a Ford 8N with wheels set far apart, but it has no bucket and I need a new finish mower for the lawn parts.  Am mowing about 1 acre, bush hogging 4 acres total and have 2+ acres of woods which I would like to clear underbrush in.  Also need to fill ground hog holes in hill!

 

Adding fluid to the tires will help. You maybe able to find a wheel spacer kit to set the tires out further. Price does not seem bad for all the implements your getting. New tractors are simply not as stable as the older ones are.

Got any pictures of that hill?  Is mowing up/down an option instead of going laterally across?

My best suggestion would be to get that tractor to your place to give it a try.   I use this approach often and entice them by stating that if it can do these specific tasks (in your case, mow across that hill or other challenging things), I'll cut you a check on the spot and you leave it.

You didn't mention details about each implement to determine their value but I'd say that price is reasonable.
