    Thinking of Winter :-(

Hey all,  for all of you that live in the NEast I think you will hit me for thinking of winter in July. Well that said...this will be my first winter with my new NH TZ22DA and I am wanting to plan for the Brrrrrr ahead.. What do you experts suggest; block heater, block heating plug nothing etc. I live in the central NY area due south of Syracuse and North of Scranton Pa.  Do I need to worry about Diesel additives?  I would like to begin my planning while the weather is warm in that if I need to modify my tractor.

Diesel additives will keep you from having fuel problems. Thats probably the best thing you can do. A vast majority of winter problems are caused by water or gel in the fuel. Other than that, the glow plugs will do just fine. A block heater is really for more extreme conditions.
