    GT 2550 Heavy Duty

I purchased this equipment on 07/25/07.

At that time, I felt that I was buying a very useful piece of equipment.  Much to my dismay, it has been in the dealer for repairs since 08/22/07.  I was only able to mow with it THREE TIMES WHEN IT BEGAN TO ABSOLUTELY FALL APART!

Cub Cadet's service technician was very rude on the phone and does not return any phone calls, although he makes promises they are invalid.

I have been very polite and patient and this is where it has gotten me - out of $4065 and a broken piece of equipment.

I am very disappointed!  This situation continues with NO resolution, when simply following through on Cub Cadet's part would have made things so much easier.  I have never been one to advertise these issues, but it has reached the FIFTH WEEK and all I get from the dealer are the same lies and alibis.  I even waited for the Cub Cadet Rep for over 3 hours two weekends ago and he never showed.

Seems that customer service and a quality product are something MTD/Cub Cadet have forgotten!

I am tired of waiting on opportunity to knock! I'm just gonna open the door and drag it inside, kicking and screaming!

I'd try going to a different dealer and see if you get better support there.
