    Soft Sided Tractor Cab

Anyone know who makes a decent but inexpensive soft sided cab that can be easily removed from season to season for the Massey Ferguson GC2310 TLB ???

There are none.... because of the backhoe the tractor can't be fitted with a cab.

Anyone tried a Bercomac Cab?  I've seen pics of this cab and it looks pretty big, I think I can rig it to my GC2310TLB.

I'm not very familiar with the GC2310 but I've heard that when sitting while using the backhoe, taller operators heads (or if wearing a hat) may be taller than the ROPS.  Just something to consider when getting/making something.

If you can't find one that can be easily modified to your tractor, it may be worth a shot to contact a marina (if you have any nearby).  Many have a company/service that travels to their site and makes covers for boats.  This company/service may be able to make a custom cover for you.

I own a GC-2310 for work around the yard.  After three years I only have 65 hours on it.  I am also looking for an inexpensive cab.  I remove the backhoe in the winter and attach a 51” snow blower.  Thus I drive it in reverse to clear my driveway.

    Still looking for that Cab.

I've heard that the cabs from "Origional Cab Company" may work for tractor only (not backhoe) use. They don't use the ROPS as the structure so the higher roll bar on these TLB's is not an issue... or so I hear... 2nd hand info.

    Re: Soft Sided Tractor Cab

Original Tractor Cab Co does NOT have a cab for the GC2310TLB...I looked at several manufacturers like SIMS and Fremar.  Northern Tool has one for $400.  See link below.  However, I found a very reasonably priced cab from Sears for only $200.  While there was no way to use all the supplied brackets, I jerry-rigged a couple 2x4 to the ROPS and secured the frame to the 2x4's using pipe clips and it works great.  I will post a pic soon in place of this one.  I found this to be a good solution and it saved me about $1000 from having a custom cab made.  It has plenty of room in it and other than having to stick your hand outside to move the joystck for the plow/bucket control (doesn't fit well if you try to stretch it over it.)  The tubing used for the frame is pretty lightweight, so there is a metal support rod for the front that secures into the tube of the front of the frame and rests on the tractor hood.  I wouldn't recommend using it without it, if snow builds up on it, I could see the frame bending.  NOTE this is only a 3 sided enclosure, I'm also bought some fabric and covered the top 2 feet of the back so that snow doesn't blow in from the backside.

FYI...to make the seat easier to move from front the rear (for backhoe) make sure the seat is EXTENDED FORWARD.  As you turn the seat around TIP THE SEAT UP so that you will be able to see the hole where the pin comes through to lock the seat down.

I got a chance to use it to push snow with the 5' snow/dozer blade and this machine ROCKS!!!  I might not ever get into my truck again!

Similar to the Craftsman cab, my Dad recently put an ATV cab/cabin on his New Holland that's about the size of your GC2310.

I'll get some pics soon.  Not sure if/how well it would work with operating the backhoe but he said it works well for snowblowing.

OK, a couple pics of using an ATV cab on a NH TZ.

It already had the roof canopy and my Dad said it was actually in the way for the cabin and would have preferred it wasn't there.
