John Deere 2210 speed

    John Deere 2210 speed

    I just recently purchased a  J.D. 2210(23 hp) and it seems  a little slow in the high range and full throttle(maybe 5 mph) is this normal?if not any suggstions? thanks

    I don't think thats normal. 5mph is really slow, it should be about double that. Check your trans fulid and make sure its full. If it is, I'd head back to the dealer.

    When looking in the sight glass I see an amber color but not a line indicating level,tractor has 131 hrs and fluid is recommended to be changed at 200 hrs,any idea what a dealer  would charge and would you recommend it,thanks .I have only had the tractor a couple of days and don't want to tear anything up /have to wait for things to dry up from gustov before I can get out there and play on it,thanks again for help and suggestions,could fuel filter need changing?

    I'd get it to a dealer ASAP, expecialy if you just bought this used. Its very possible the owner knew there was a problem and sold it before it needed fixed.

    You could also try pushing/pulling with the loader to see if the trans has power or not.
