    BX24 Filled tires

I recently bought a BX24 and the dealer recomended that I get the rear tires filled for added weight, I did so and now reading through the owners manual it states that the tires should not be filled when useing the BH attachment? Is this really an issue? Its not like you can empty/refill the tires every time you want to use the BH. I know wheel weights are an option but the dealer did not even bring that option up.

    Any comments?   Thanks

It should not affect the machine or its performance if anything the added wieght will help the machine be more stable when using the BH.

I have not needed, or tried, this product, but have read good things about it. Sounds a lttle expensive, but it claims to be heavier, so maybe you don't fill it as much if you want to save a little. Worth a look, especially concerning the rotted rim and toxic aspects.

there is another product called "Beat-juice" which is bascily the same thing. Its not easy to find dealers who use this stuff, everyone had their preference.

unless you have a high performance utv or something that is gonna jump off the line i don't think a slow movin utv/tractor will get damaged with putting water in the tires.

    Tommy,

Rust and freezing are both issues when using straight water.  Not as corrosive as calcium but not good either.

i never thought about the rust. we put water in the tires for our small tractor and i never ever gave it any thought to if it would rust we kept the tractor for about 10 years then my ad sold it. maybe the tires fell off when the guy got it home .lol i wonder about putting a tube in the tire and filling it up??
