Strengths good visibilty the two sticks are smooth to run
Weaknesses pilot controls ar the worst things to run the new seat stinks no room to swing seat with pilot contols fuel hogs gutluss unless you turn pump up for more engine power
Overall the pilot controls are the worst thing case could have done. i work for a utility company and been digging for nearly 17 years for them. if digging around utilitys it is the worst thing i have ever used. no feel pilots controls are not constant the only thing the pilot controls may be good for is pulling stumps. in other words i hate them. you might beable to dig with them but never be able to operate them. digging and operateing are two different things.

Overall Anonymous. you are crap. case is the catolack of all backhoes. if u have not realised that yet. case will never go down. they sever their custormers great. i dont no why your machine is always in the shop. u must not no how to operate.

Strengths DRIVETRAIN SEEMS TO BE POWERFUL
Weaknesses HYDRAULICS IS SCREWED UP. SWING IS GREATLY SLOWED WHEN USING ANY OTHER FUNCTION. NEED TO GO BACK TO THE HYDRAULICS ON THE L.
Overall WISH AT TIMES I HAD MY SUPER L BACK. IN MY OPINION PROBABLY THE BEST BACKHOE EVER BUILT.

Strengths none, WERE TALKING ABOUT THE FIAT HITACHI CASE still have the brochures of 1997 MOD FB90..
Weaknesses well done case international on creating the biggest balls up to date.....the 580 sle 4x4 was and still is the best now you sell us crap,,, ie fiat hitachi..it was simple, easy to work on. im an engineer, why go backwards...
Overall i run a fleet of tlbs .last 2 years havent bought one new case. seems im forced to go for JCB,,,GETTING CARRARO PARTS in south africa also a huge pain, there front diffs cant take the pain,trunions too small go learn from CAT..

Strengths This is one of the most awsome backhoes I've ever seen!! People say the aircond. dosen't work, but thats a joke. The l model has a little more power than the m, but it's still an awsome machine. It has great dig depths and you can see all around you because of the glass!! It's just an awsome machine!!!
Weaknesses The 4 wheel drive on the m in the front tires can sometimes fail, but thats just when I floor it! The farther out the boom streches, you lose more power, unlike the l.
Overall Overall, this is the best backhoe I've ever ran. It has less power than the l, but it's still got some juice!!!

Strengths This is by far the best machine I have ever had the opportunity in running. It can out push, pull, and run circles around any other machine on the market. I know because I have tried them all and this backhoe is the best damn backhoe on the market, period!
Weaknesses The only weakness I have saw with this machine is the air conditioning system. It is not as bad on these machines as it is on older model Case's or other manufactuers!
Overall Overall this is the best machine for the money! As well as the most efficient machine I have ever ran!

Strengths has more comfort with pilot controls
Weaknesses air conditioning is poor.hydralics is to weak to move machine.hydralics will cook you in the cab why operating.block vales prevent being able to move machine when lines brake.
Overall i have ran equiptment for several years and this backhoe is one of the worst.case may have made a backhoe without trying it out in the real work place first?!

Strengths quiet, smooth
Weaknesses new cab is too wide. always in the way in tight spaces. Too much glass to clean and bake you in the cab. Air conditioning rarely works! Power to wheels is a joke. My 580 L will run circles around the M. Hydraulics run very hot! The M has been constantly in the shop for repairs.
Overall Worst machine I have ever purchased! They took a great design (the L). And ruined it. My family has been buying Case backhoes since they started making backhoes. Case is going to start losing more loyal customers like me if they keep designing backhoes without getting input from people like me.
