Strengths GREAT LITTLE TRACTOR. IT HAS PLENTY OF POWER FOR MOST JOBS.VERY STABLE ON HILLS. ALSO IT FITS ME BETTER THAN THE OTHER S-CUTS I TRIED.

Weaknesses DITTO ON THE SAFETY SWITCHES. THE MOUNT FOR THE AIR FILTER ALSO BROKE. I'M WAITING UNTIL SPRING TO HAVE IT FIXED. BECAUSE NOT MANY UNITS ARE SOLD, ALL FILTERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH AUTO PART STORES. THIS MEANS YOU'LL HAVE TO BUY THEM THROUGH THE DEALER (EXPENSIVE).

Overall I LOVE IT.LIKE I SAID,GREAT LITTLE TRACTOR.

Strengths This thing is a mowing machine. Mowing that used to take 4-6 hours is now done in an hour and 45 minutes. It never runs out of power when mowing and the power seems matched correctly when I have the FEL and BB on it while doing dirt work.

Weaknesses It is always nice to have a little more power, and that is the case when using the DX25E with the loader or box blade. However, I think this motor is well proportioned to the size of the tractor. The "safety switch" on the seat was disabled after a few hours. What a pain! I also learned not to let it run below a half tank of fuel on the hills out here.

Overall I really like the little Farmall. While I thought about purchasing a larger model, this one really does everything I ask it to do and because of its smaller tires and wide stance, it does not seem as likely to roll over as some of the other competition. I got a good deal from the dealer and 0% for 48 months, so I plan on enjoying it for quite a while to come.

Strengths So far it's wonderful! Plenty of power to cut even heavy wet grass without slowing and makes a nice even cut for a big deck. Deck PTO engages very quietly and runs smooth at full throtle. MFWD is a blessing on our rough and sloped areas around our lake. I really think with wheel weights it would climb trees!

Weaknesses Seat safety switch is annoying...requires complete restart sequence if you have to leave the seat to move an obstacle. I know it's an "idiot proof" device, but may be bypassed soon. The discharge cover tends to row the clippings a bit too much.

Overall I'd have to say that so far the money is very, very well spent on this machine. Wish I had aboterh $2k to add a loader!
