Strengths I own a 05 DX29, basically the same machine. 400 hours to date. Loader work is where this unit shines. Very ergonomic lever, don't have to reach and can rest your hand on the lever. Boom loader has a far reach and great visibility. Tight turning radius, very nice looking tractor.
Weaknesses Brakes are on the same side as the hydro pedal so you can't brake one wheel while driving unless you have 2 right legs. PTO is not independent so PTO stops when you clutch. PTO can be hard to engage as it's linked to the hydro-sometimes you have to drive fwd a bit to get the PTO to engage. Don't do loader work without rear weights. I recommend fluid in rear tires just to balance the loader when its empty, then add 500+lbs to the back if you're moving dirt.
Overall Beautiful unit just needs an independent PTO and brakes moved to the left side. I also run a 6' finish mower and 7' cultivator. The latter can be pulled 8" down.
