Strengths very well built tractor, good ground clearance,fairly economical on fuel consumption,very positive power sync. transmission.lots of power. nice looking tractor. nice turning radius. plenty of room between steering wheel and operator. stable on steep hillsides. climbs very well. good hydraulic steering.

Weaknesses not very smooth hydraulics on loader.operator station poorly designed. seat uncomfortable. 4 wheel drive lever too close to seat. I'm a large man and found that i was constantly kicking it out of 4 wheel drive or was dumping the bucket by hitting the loader joystick with my knee.

Overall i would have purchased this tractor if i could have overcome the placement of the 4wheel drive engagement lever and redesigned the loader joy stick. i demo'ed it (6 days) on a small logging operation in montana where there are large boulder fields and long steep hillsides.

Strengths excellant power,easy as it gets to operate,fairly quiet(I use hearing protection always),8 speeds with shuttle shift,nice 3 pt hitch operation,fairly comfortable seating,(I'm 6'4")good entry either side of machine,fairly tight turning radius,posiitive,simple PTO controls

Weaknesses I should have filled the wheel wells with tire.ground clearance is needed with the routing of the piping and hyd. hoses. engine oil filter is tougher to get at than need be for routine maint.not much else can i find fault with

Overall I've used "green", "orange", and "blue" ,priced out them all and compared serviceability, went with Cat "yellow" and am glad I did. When I expand and or upgrade , I would definately buy another Challenger.the 3 cyl. turbo is awsome.
