Strengths Great diesel engine, comfortable to use, snowblower plows through the deepest snow and the 60" mower works very well. I also use a rock rake to level my gravel driveway and tow a 5' brush mower to mow my pastures. When it works, it handles all these duties great.

Weaknesses Bad engineering, horrible electronics, structurally weak. All gauges quit working after 100 hours, 3 pt hitch broke twice lifting half the stated capacity, pto switch broke, both rear lights fell out of their sockets, front seals leak, and low gear jumps out of gear in to neutral--very dangerous if you are on a steep hill! After three years I have spent close to $2000 in repairs.

Overall When it works, I love this tractor, but for the money I paid and the huge repair bills I have been hit with, I don't think I would buy another when I send this to its grave.

Strengths Does what it should for a small compact tractor. I have run a PTO Chipper, York Rake, Seeder, and Box Blade with no problems. I bought mine second hand for $7000 with 100hrs, not a bad deal.

Weaknesses The glow plugs are useless, you need to buy a block heater for this tractor. More vibration than a Kubota, and louder. Besides these items not a bad tractor for the money.

Overall For the money I paid, I would definitely recommend my Cub, for almost $14K I'd say buy a Kubota. I own a Cub, a Kubota, and a JD. The best for the money is a Cub, if money isn't important by a JD, and if your in the middle buy Kubota. None of them should let you down.

Weaknesses PTO clutch had a recall, no problems since, rough ride, had to weld the muffler flange back on the muffler pipe, fender cracked in fron onf fuel tank for no reason, I hate the fact that the pto shuts off when you backup unless you remeber to hit the override switch, too light in the front end, doesnt like to start when its cold outside, need a longer timer on the glow plug. fuel tank is too small, vibrates and shakes like a bed at a cheap motel at idle.

Strengths Motor has plenty of power controls are in the right places especially the joy stick on the fender mower cuts very well 1 half hour faster then last tractor loader works beyond specifications steering is smooth and effortless dealer took care of any problems

Weaknesses fit and finish could be better muffler and air cleaner hit the hood stickers are cheap for control settings fender has a crack left side in front of fuel tank dealer will replace also had electrical short dealer fixed

Overall only 50 hours on tractor so far I would buy another one lets see after 1000 hours

Weaknesses front axel broke twice along with over 60 other complants,up dates,recalls even zerk hole not bored to let grease in. Iam all done with cub cadet!

Overall the dealer will trade for case ih. he is a great dealer with a bad product.

Strengths great engine

Weaknesses many problems front axel broke in 2.loader joy stick replaced twice.repaint due to rust and peeling paint and decales pealing .tach broke.throttle would not sty where set.and many other smaller problems.

Strengths Super powerful diesel engine, Very fuel effecient. Mows better than any Kubota we had, and we had 4 of them. Comfortable, safe on our hillsides. We mow over 5 acres of grass. Super pleased with dealer support and with Cub Cadet.This is our first one, and we will have more, due to dealer and Cub Cadets concern over these minor problems we had.

Weaknesses Viberates more due to diesel engine. Also muffler broke at the manifold, and mount pins kept falling off to to viberation, front mower mount bracket weld broke. Note these problems were all fixed by my dealer and also I spoke with Ken Paul an engineer at Cub Cadet. They were very super to me. The listened and took care of all my problems. I never had anyone call me from Kubota!!!

Overall My wife and I love this tractor. The way my problems and concerns were handled by my dealer and the engineer at Cub Cadet says a lot about this product, dealer service and quality. I feel that Burt Young and Ken Paul are both a class act. My wife and I jumped ship from Kubota, and will go to our grave owning Cub Cadet Products. Thanks and God Bless

Strengths It's very comfortable for a larger person, with plenty of power for a 1.1 liter cat. Great service from the dealer and no problems with getting parts. It is also well built.

Weaknesses The muffler vibrated off. Both of the lift links broke at the welds going down a paved road in the up position. The rear blinker lights did not function when the tractor arrived due to faulty connectors, but I was able to fix them myself. I noticed a burning rubber smell when using the loader to push snow.

Overall Overall I am very satisfied. So far I only have 50 hours on it. So I'll have to wait and see how things go from here.

Strengths Loader worked very well even beyond stated capacity. The tractor is very fuel efficient, and the mower cuts extremely well. It has tremendous power in warm weather. It is very comfortable to operate, even for large person.

Weaknesses The transmission will not operate in temps below 20 degrees. The engine vibrates so much that it has broken the muffler off and loosened the oil filter, creating an oil leak. You have to monitor it closely. It is very noisy as if the hydraulics are starving for fluids.

Overall I have owned my tractor for 15 months. In that time, I have put less than 40 hours on it. It has let me down on 2 occasions when clearing snow. The hydrostatic drive froze and would not move in my drive way. It has spent 4 weeks in the shop for a variety issues. It had the battery light come on at start up and the dealer has not been able to fix it. I purchased a Cub Cadet for quality and it did not meet my expectations. I am very frustrated with it and would not recommend it to any one else.

Strengths Cat motor has impressive torque. The backhoe is very well built and does a great job. The fel and hydraulics are smooth and operate at a good rate. The power steering works very well and the HST also works well. Very good machine for the money. I would buy another without hesitation.

Overall This is a great sub compact tractor. All the implaments are built well and the hyd. control stick is located on fender in perfect spot for operation.
