Strengths lightwieght

Weaknesses Starter pulley broke. A new one can be bought as an assembly for $50 so I will make my own.

Overall I planned to buy a brushcutter attachment, but sounds like it won't be able to handle what I need to do (at least 1" sprouts). Thanks for the reviews.

Strengths Light weight ease of use; ease of starting.

Weaknesses I too have had the coupling in the split shaft wear out. This is a very poor design.

Overall Very disappointed with this trimmer's durability.

Strengths Easy starting, quiet, light weight for power.

Weaknesses The split shaft internal coupling is poorly designed and is not durable because it is made of zinc alloy. I used the CC2025 moderately for most of one season for edging and trimming before the pot metal hollow pyrimid internal coupling in the split shaft wore out. As an upgrade, I fabricated a steel hollow square coupling like the one used in Ryobi trimmers, and welded it to the flexible shaft. This seems to be working.
