Strengths 4 stroke engine, no need to add oil to the gas mixture, easy to use, easy start and run. The weight is acceptable and the grips and handles make it easy to use.

Weaknesses Did not come with a bump feed reel and I added one from my previous gas string trimmer. The air filter housing is not secured well so it fell off in the middle of the street as I was blowing grass clippings. Before I noticed it was gone a car ran over it and I now have to buy another one. The part is back-ordered and not easy to find from parts retailers. The retailers I checked with do not carry it and have to order it. I ordered the part on-line from Cub Cadet but have no idea when I will have it since it is back ordered. The on-line data entry mask is finicky and rejected my phone number about five times before I gave up. The next week it worked fine. I cannot express how poor Cub Cadet's customer "service" is. There is no discernible way to contact them by phone. The site is clumsy and information is difficult to find.

Overall Once I have finished with this product, I will not buy another CC product.

Strengths Starts and works. Not fancy but a simple, robust and reliable design. Ability to add attachments is key. Motor is a little weak for brush cutting but OK. Hey, it's only a 25cc. I've had for 3 years and no major issues.

Weaknesses When using, the back of your right forearm (the arm with the hand using the throttle) rests on the plastic housing that encloses the engine. This housing gets very hot during extended use esp. in the summertime. Hot enough to make your arm unhappy but not hot enough to actually burn it. Also air filter requires frequent cleaning; the foam element is small, not durable and it is impossible to find replacements. Dealers treat you like a leper if you ever need parts (granted I did buy this from a box store.)

Overall Good unit for the price.
