Strengths High power ranch/firewood saw. Cuts with the best, just as fast if not faster than my 026pro
Deffinately stronger than my husky 350
Weaknesses Yeah the switch gets oxidized @ the connections. take it apart and clean it and it is fine. Most of these machines set on the store display for 1-2-3 years before sale.
What sold these rebaged emak saws short was being affiliated with MTD! Most people thought cub cadet=MTD and just didn't bite.
Overall These are good saws 1/2 notch below husky & stihl. They have good dealer suppoprt if you consider the other emak parts sources, john deere saws and efco saws are all the same. Greenline dealers are actually the cheapest i have found for parts.

Strengths Metal case
Weaknesses Weak motor bogs down. Cheezy rubber covered switch(stopped working after two day use).
Chain tensioner has broken teeth already.
Overall Not happy. So much for quality equipment.
