The Cub enforcer when working cuts and handles great. Plenty of power and ease of use.
Weaknesses My unit has 125 hours and 2 years of use. I have meticulously maintained this machine. I recently had the bolt that screws into the motor shaft shear off. This caused the electronic clutch assembly to fall off causing multiple problems including a sheard pully/fan assembly on the left transmission. I know of two other people that own an Enforcer and a Tank who both have had the same thing happen. One was fixed under warranty the other two of us were one month past the two years and were told that Cub would not stand behind the problem. I spoke to the dealer about this inherant problem and was told that unless the problems occured while under warranty, they will not be addresssed or a service bulletin posted. I am very dissapointed in the way that Cub treats its customers, especially when there have been three identical problems and it's obiously a design or assembly flaw. Buyer beware.
Overall This is the third Cub Cadet that I have owned. Previous units have been bullet proof (prior MTD). This unit is awesome when working, but don't expect cub to stand behind any problems one day after the warranty expiration.
