Strengths Looks like a really good mower

Weaknesses It's not a really good mower.

Overall I purchased this mower about two years ago thinking I was buying something that would last (CUB CADET). NOT. After only 200 hours, you would think it had 2000. I recently went back to where I purchased it to find out why gas was coming out of the fuel pump after running it about 30 minutes. The answer I got was it could be the fuel pump. Replaced it $26.00 NOT. Or it cold be the compresson. Or we really don't know. But since you're here. If you bring it in, we would be happy to check it out for you. But since the CUB CADET is such a crappy machine. We stopped selling them. Have a nice day.

Strengths G Good tractor for the price. Easy on gasoline,easy to maintain.

Weaknesses Could use some more HP. My 1976 8hp Allis Chalmers has as much pulling power as the cub.

Weaknesses This is my first cub cadet. My grandfather had one so I thought it had a good reputation, but I must agree that this model is not what I expected. The battery goes dead every few months. (It seems to suck the life out of every battery I buy. Every three years I need to replace all the belts. Finally, I agree with the other reviewers it doesn't cut very well. I admit I have a rought and hilly yard, but it always looks like a bad haircut. When you take a turn the mowing deck never stays level (I have adjusted it several times). I leaves terrible high spots. I bought it at LOwes and the sales person promised they would have parts in the future. Well the next year they dropped carrying cub cadets and I have a terrible time finding belts.

Overall Overally, I would think twice about buying another cub cadet. Its not my grandfathers lawn mower, and I waiting for something big to break so I can get something different.

Weaknesses This mower is junk. Cub Cadet should apologize for this junk.

Overall Mower eats belts and i have to charge battery everytime I mow. Belts are expensive andi have bought Alot of them. I am very frustrated with this purchase.

Strengths It is pretty until the paint flakes off.

Weaknesses If you can think of it, it is weak.

Overall Waste of money. Think the manager of the service department, Bill at 330-225-2600 Ext. 7295 is completely nuts. Must be related to the owner of the company or something because I can't figure out any other reason why he should be permitted to speak with anyone, let alone customers.

Weaknesses Everytime you move the pedal to reverse the mower shuts off. I understand that they're a newer model that has a by pass on the key switch. (Which I had bought that model.

Overall Not a bad unit. About average. Probably wouldn't fight you if you tried to buy it from me.

Strengths Cup holder

Weaknesses Doesn't cut evenly. Engine is underpowered. Poor service support in my area. Have had continual problems over the last 2 years with charging system that have yet to be resolved.

Overall Piece of junk! I can understand why they quit making it. I will never buy another Cub Cadet product!

Weaknesses Tried to move it this winter and now it wont move, belt or something.

Strengths Cuts high grass well Even cut easy removal and replacement of mower deck for cleaning and maintenance of blades. 1018LT limited addition has a nice 18 hp Kolher engine. Good power on hills. uses little gas

Weaknesses Grass accumulates on top of deck. belt driven.

Overall Performs well mows half acre weekly no problem since purchase in 2004.

Strengths Good strong enhine. Smooth Hydrostatic Transmission. Comfortable to ride.

Weaknesses Can't get the mower deck to cut evenly. Leaves grass standing (as if the blades aren't sharp) but it has brand new blades. Gouges grass when turning. Nothing seems to make a difference. Adjusted the deck like the manufacture says to do but the same thing keeps happening.

Overall Nice mower, reliable, just wish the damned thing would cut evenly..
