Weaknesses Was in the shop from the start. No one knew me after they were paid for it so I spent over $700 on it at the shop. Motor blew after after 52 hours! Thanks Cub... my family didn't need that $3000 any how...

Strengths seems to run and mow very well, plenty of power at 24 hp. 50" deck is awesome !!
Weaknesses have no complaints about this mower.
Overall would buy another one in a heartbeat, highly recommend cub cadet lt series. bought used with 186 hrs now have 215hrs

great mower !!! starting the 4th mowing season ... has 348 hours on it now .... replaced mower belt once ..... has tons of power to spare have to love those B+S motors, change the oil/filter and it will run forever !!!
Weaknesses when i got it, the mower would turn off when backing ... i unplugged that after first week ....
Overall super mower i mow over 4 acres and love it

Strengths Pretty
Weaknesses Battery 1 year. Starter 2 years, starter solenoid 3 years, ball joints 3 years, slow.
Engine just blew with 100 hours. Good maintenance of oil and filters. Block split open on left side. Piece of junk. Will be calling Lowe's and Cub Cadet and Briggs & Stratton. 23 Hp twin cylinder.
Overall Would not buy another one for $200 with a lifetime warranty.

Strengths I have 9 acres and cut 3 of them weekly it takes me 6 hours. I pull my 19 ft flats boat and my 20 foot pontoon boats around the yard with it.But like everything it has its limits if you want a tractor buy a tractor if you want a machine to do heavy garden/yard work it works great.
Weaknesses PTO shuts off in reverse but will mow in reverse if you disable the safety. Cheap piece of crap plastic hood will break. To replace drive belt after having it 2 years have to pull PTO pulley which was easy, then had to pull main drive pulley which i had to tear to pieces to remove other than that it is too slow its a great tractor.
Overall could use a few modifications but is good when it is used for what it is built for.

Strengths To have strengths this piece of crap would have to run. CUB CADET IS A TOTAL DISASTER.
Weaknesses Year 1,Engine blew at 40 hours. Had to threaten law suit to get engine fixed under warranty. Lowes was no help, Cub Cadet didn't care. Replaced belts every couple mowings. Year 2 So many pieces broke off of deck it is now unusable and needs replaced.
Overall I got 2 seasons out of this piece of junk. I will not be repacing the deck, the engine is failing again. Neighbor with similar model having same problems. I will be buying anything else. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

Strengths Smooth ride
Weaknesses Deck does not follow the gound well, digs in on dips and the Briggs and Stratton engine exploded with only 41 hours and had been regularly maintained, now waiting to see if warranty will come through. A bit slow
Overall Other than engine and minor deck issues, seems to be OK

Overall I have put 215 hours on this thing and it can't be beat. Also it is good to know that it is backed by a dealer who stocks the parts and knows the mower inside and out.

Strengths GOOD SMOOTH CUT WHEN IT'S RUNNING CORRECT
Weaknesses I bought this mower in April of 04 and mowed with it about three times before it started giving me problems. I've mowed my yard with it twice this summer and the rest of the time it's been in the shop being fixed . The picked it up yesterday after a five week stint in the shop and it still isn't fixed.
Overall My advice .....save your money and buy a KUBOTA or JOHN DEERE.

Strengths So far this mower has been very strong and realiable. It is able to cut overgrown areas with ease. I am also able to cut 2.5 acres in about 3.0 hours.
Weaknesses Lowes didn't deliver an owners maunal or a parts manual. I have not been able to get one from Cub Cadet by using the serial # and Model #.
Overall So far it has been a great mower!
