Strengths Size, reliability, Shaft drive is smooth, Hydro transmission is spot on. Mulching or bagging is a breeze, plenty of power.

Overall The perfect size lawn tractor for smaller yards with tight area's. Would buy again!

Strengths Kohler engine has been trouble free for five years, now up to 360 hours on engine and still going strong. Quality of cut is good if blades are sharp and deck is clean of obstructions. Shaft drive and hydrostaic transmission are just the best ever.

Weaknesses Headlight assembly will break if you hit anything or get vines and such tangled in it.

Overall I purchased this because it had the shaft drive,hyrostatic transmission and the Kohler engine. I expect to get at least 750 hours mowing from this mower and hope to get 1000 hours which should be 15 years use.

Strengths The 16hp Kohler supplies more than enough power, has been trouble free since '05 and not a single issue. The appearance is good and I really like the shaft drive.

Weaknesses The deck design must be a direct relationship to the poor cut quality. It has a mulching plate but it's pretty much useless if you expect any type of cut quality. No matter what there is always missed sections and it's pretty disappointing. Plastic front light assembly breaks very easily @ $89.00 each time.

Overall Would not reccommend this mower, but it's unfair to Kohler because the 16hp command seems awesome. Since 2005 I managed only 100 hours of cutting time becuase it looks better quality than it's cut quality.
