Strengths Strong motor, mows strong, cut looks great, easy to service, easy to get regular service parts, strong pulling machine, nice looks, cast iron hyd trans, big deck,built well.

Weaknesses Can be hard to steer, but couldn't justify extra $1500 or so just for hyd lift and steering on a GT3000 series. Need a better selection of accessories or at least make them easier to find out about on the web site. Seating is too high compaired to the steering. Battery weak and front headlights falling apart internally after 6 months.

Overall Main selling points were, price, cast iron hydrostatic trans, big deck, HD GT, shaft drive, main reason-> KOHLER engine. Kohler doesn't bat a 1000, but they do have excellent reliability if you take care of them. And that's from experience. Wix filters, Amsoil, air hose clean up, wipe down. I love my '05, but hate the '06 looks, only like the '06 side handles and seat.
