Years of Use : 3+ Years
Implements : Mulcher blades
Purchased From : Lowes, Trussville AL.
Strengths Plenty of horse power(Kohler 19). Most of my yard is on a 10 to 15 degree slope. Cuts great. Steers good. Confortable. I have 1.6 Acres & prob have to use it to cut 3/4 acres. I have used it to cut 2 neighbors yard last summer(Several times) when they had thier first children & one of thier yard is much steeper than mine, worked fine.
Weaknesses Not too impressed with the deck hanger system. I have had to place the cables back on thier hanger track twice, They tend to want to jump off if you let the deck adjustment slip out of your hand. Just now having to replace some deck pulleys, but I think thats norm wear & tear. Probably wouldn't have to if I didn't use it to mulch large piles of leaves. I would blame myself that, otherwise prob would stil be going.
Overall Very satisified. I bought it brand new in April 2005. I have 65 hours on it. My first new lawn tractor & I would recommend that year/model Cub Cadet. I do have to admit the newer models look more cheap for the same price. I did to my sister. She bought to Cub Zero turn last year & she has had to replace the starter on it. Not sure what model it is.
