Strengths Kawasaki engine - hydro transmission makes mowing easy turns very tight - plenty of power for 50" mowing deck - Deck wash is probably a little overated but does help Does a great job mowing even and powering through tough grass -

Weaknesses Hydro transmission is louder than others I've had when mowing up steep hills, but performs just fine. Not sure why Cub set it up with the lights on ALL the time?

Overall good mower for the money - makes fast work of large yards or small acreages. I mow a little under 2 acres on hills, it does great. bought from a local Cub Cadet dealer, almost same price as Depot, and mower was set up perfect, and they were extremely helpful in answering questions and will be there if repairs are ever needed.

Strengths Cuts grass even though it seems to be bogging down.

Weaknesses Deck gets almost completely clogged with grass, only room for the blades. The deck wash is a complete waste, does not work at all. Occaisional lines show up when cutting, can't make sense about where they appear. Dash guages too small to read.

Overall Ok, I guess, it is my first riding mower, nothing to compare it to. Very disappointed in how hard it is to keep the deck clear of grass. It really packs in, leaving only space for the blades.

Strengths power house 23 hp kohler courage. starts without choke. clean and even cut. have had it for 2 yrs now, no real problems. Gas usage is unbelievable! I only use a 1/4 of a tank on 2.8 acres. My MTD has a 18.5 hp briggs and uses 3/4 of a tank mowing just a 3/4 acre lot. Steering radius is great. The jet wash deck doesnt get the deck all that clean but it doesnt take much to unhook the deck and clean it that way.

Weaknesses PTO kept shutting off. Had to unhook the safety switch for the seat. No problems since.Other than that no problems.

Overall overall a great mower for the price!

Strengths This thing is awesome! Bout a home depot deere and took it back. Little briggs gave up the g ghost when I got it home the same day. Went online, found a dealer in Clinton and BAM! I am in business.

Weaknesses Wish it had arm rest. Not a big deal, if I had it to do over I would in a minute.

Overall Great machine

Strengths turning radius is great. makes for a lot less work with line trimmer. 21 hp kohler engine is a power house ..a tad loud but considering you can cut 12 inch tall wet grass at full speed its easy to overlook the noise.

Weaknesses none found

Overall great tractor...a lot more tractor for the money than a john deere.never buy a deere again now that i have discovered cub cadet
