Strengths I have the Briggs and Stratton engine on mine and thusfar has ran flawless. It cuts very level and is easy to adjust the deck height. Oil changing is simple with the supplied hose. Being a Briggs motor tune-up parts are readily available at Walmart.
Weaknesses I agree with others front tires are on the weak side and puncture easily..would like to see a true zero turn type tire on the rear (current tires tend to slide around if the grass is wet). Would like to have armrests on the seat (like higher end zero turn mowers) but still comfortable as is.
Overall This has been a GREAT mower so far...have owned for 3 yrs and now has well over 200hrs. I have not had to make any unexpected repairs beyond normal wear items (belts) which were very easy to change and pretty reasonable at Tractor Supply Company. I would highly recommend this mower to anyone as it has drastically cut my mowing time (currently mow over 5 acres) with numerous trees etc.

Strengths Good when works , rarely
Weaknesses Constant problems with engine.
Overall Wish I never purchased, its an expensive headache and Cub Cadet has the worst customer service, downright hostile. Parts only available online so good luck if you get stuck, and you will.

Strengths Reliable motor. Easy to change oil when you use the supplied tube.
Weaknesses Mower gets clogged easily when grass is slightly wet. I have two acres of somewhat bumby ground so the ride isn't that smooth. The seat is not real comfortable ad kind of small. Hard to calibrate the steering. CAn't control as well as I'd like when going down a slope. Mower gets away from you. Wish it had brakes or something. Cleaning under the deck is hard.
Overall Not a bad mower but could certainly use some improvements. I purchased a replacement handle and it was aabout an inch shorter than the origianl so now the left and right handles are an inche off and it drives me nuts!

Strengths Turns sharp, and I am able to get down low in the ditch in front of my home and get out at not even half throttle!
Weaknesses This mower has no weaknesses! I bought my RZT50 nearly 4 years ago and have not had a single problem with it. I live on 5 acres and this mower is more than perfect for the job! The only thing this mower ever needs is, basic maintenance.
Overall I highly recommend this mower to anyone who lives on at least an acre of land. and the blades are not expensive at all. I paid $50.00 for 3 brand new.

Strengths Cut 2 acres of hilly lawn with many trees and obstacles in less than an hour.
Weaknesses After 1 year [100 hours] of wonderful performance, I have had the mower in the shop 5 times in 19 hours. The belts [transmission and PTO] have been jammed or come off 6 times so far this season.
Overall I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

Strengths Fast, starts every single time, great engine (the KAW is by far the best on the market), Great cut, My mother-in-law loves it so much I have to fight her drive it. They Finally added a sight gauge for the fuel tank.
Weaknesses Doesn't cut grass over 3 ft. very well.
Overall Overall this is a great machine. Cub Cadet has made a good machine that I would buy again. The cut is great, speed is good, starts everytime, maintience is easy, cuts my mowing time in half. I currently have about 4 ac. of grass and I get it done in about 2 hours.

Strengths I have two acres I used to take 4 1/2 hours to cut but now with my RZT50 it is about 2 hours. As for the deck cable...the 2007 model comes with a metal slate and not a cable...I don't know if it is interchangeable but when mine breaks again I will try it. It looks like I will have to buy the 2007 model and higher and use the 2006 model as my backup
Weaknesses -Front tires come off the rim when the air gets low
-mandrel bolts shook lose and wore out the bearings; but warranty covered it
-the steering adjustments are a little tricky;but when adjusted correctly it works fine
-Blades are expensive; No offense against Home Depot but buying the seperately at mover shops are cheaper.
-front wheels are too small(the 2007 has a bigger tire)
-Bagger needs a better design; you spend too much time unclogging the bagger.
Overall A great mower.

Strengths Fast and easy to operate.
Weaknesses Deck cable broke after two months of use. A bit noisy, too.
Overall It's a great mower. It takes me about 1hr to cut about 2 acres; First cut, the grass was over three feet tall (no joke...brush and weeds) and it handled with minimum sweat. Too bad they have cheap parts on it. The deck cable broke and apparantelly it is a common problem, but the replacement part is the same one: a weak alluminum loop, which I'm sure will fail again. But when it works, it gets the job done.
