Weaknesses The deck is a huge disappointment. We go thru at least a belt a month. The thing wont even keep a belt on now and there is nothing wrong with it. Huge disappointment. We have spent nearly 1000 on repairs and that doesnt even include the several hundred a year on belts.
Overall Huge Disappointment
Strengths Kohler Pro23 Engine works great, and the seat is nice. The overall finish looks great, but looks don't cut the grass. The transmission and engine have worked flawlessly.
Weaknesses The "Commercial Deck" has weak components abound. It has ate thru belts consistently. Also weak brackets and pulley springs assist in the belt eating behavior.
Overall Don't waste your time with one unless you get a long term warranty that exclusively covers the deck and all components. Then I still wouldn't recommend it. Six belts in 18 months is ridiculous.
Strengths Are you guys sure you bought a z-force??? I have had nothing but success! Engine strong , cut great, starts with no choke! Coming from a briggs JD, this thing is a dream!
Weaknesses Wish I had bought the enforcer for the spring loaded seat!
Overall Great, can't beleive anyone would have a complaint!
Strengths Great family history, nice looking, starts easy.
Weaknesses A nightmare. My feelings are that this machine was released too early, designers did not fully terst prior to putting on market. I'm
going back to Snapper.
Strengths Engine is strong
Weaknesses The PTO has been replaced (under warranty) after at least six complaints to the service department. Blade takes forever to engage. The belt smokes with any length of measurable grass.
Overall This mower has been a huge disappointment. We expected more from a Cub Cadet commercial mower. I have used borrowed mowers more than my own mower during the last 23 months that I have owned the mower.
