Strengths After 1000 hours and 5 years of use, this mower still runs, drives, and handles every bit as nice as the brand new Grasshopper I bought this spring to go along with the 721G2. The Kubota diesel has great power for this sized unit, and has always run flawlessly. The front mount design gives a vastly superior ride to the mid mount ZTR mowers I've owned (three) and operated (dozens). There are 2 neoprene bushings where the front deck mounts to the mower unit. Each spring I throw these away and replace. This makes the mower as tight as new. Time to replace; 3 - 5 minutes, cost; around $5. My yard is fairly rough and I have mowed as fast as I can each time I've used the mower.

Weaknesses Amazingly enough, after 1000 hours not a single thing has broken or worn out. This thing drives as well as my brand new model and has no additional rattles, shakes, or other odd noises. I complain loudly if something fails me, but this mower has been unbelievable.

Overall I liked this mower so well after 5 years of hard use, I bought another just like it except with the 3 cyl. Kubota gas engine. My only regret is not buying the diesel in my new Grasshopper. Relatively high hp gas mowers do drink gas rather quickly.
