Weaknesses Thought about trading my 1996 RV 32ft motoron home to these guy, his tractor is a 2004 he is willing to throw in Pole Hole digger,6ft mower and a box thingy but after reading all the bad reviews I am not going to trade him I am glad I checked out the reviews first. I am really disappointed I wanted to make the deal:(

Overall Looked like a fine piece of Equipment for what I needed.

Strengths sma;; tractor to work in garden and relatively i jinma 254 small tractor about like a ford 8n so can work in smaller garden places

Weaknesses too light weight for on hill sides,gears never functioning, oil lights always on, loses power and clutch is always broken...the tractor functions for maybe an hour after repair..in 2 years time it has not worked 98% of the time..I would have been better off buying a kuboda at any cost that would function than losing the money I put into this tractor.

Weaknesses front axle poorly built, transmission poorly built, gauges don't work properly, small tires, Hard to find parts, made out of poor cast iron, 3 point hitch breaks easily not built in USA

Strengths Has none, total piece of Junk!! And he sold it to me knowing it was a piece of junk! Will not return my calls. I think he's out of business now! hmm hmm wonder why?

Weaknesses It does not turn like it should, jumps out of gear, oil pressure light stays on when returns to idle. Has given me problems since i bought it from Action Equipment in Livingston, La. A total piece of junk. Would not recommend buying one at all! Action equipment will not call me back, Homier will not call me back totally dissatisfied with the tractor a waste of about $12,000.00. I mainly bought it to cut grass. I would not buy another one I can tell you that! I would buy a John Deere or a Kubota! I'm sure i will not even be able to find parts for the piece of crap when i will need parts. Run Run from this tractor!!! I think whoever else has one like this that is having the same trouble we should file a class action law suit against Homier! I will never buy another piece of equipment from Chuck Homier ever again!

Also if you know of any other places i can let people know to run form these tractors please let me know. If you know anyone that is looking to buy a tractor like this tell them to call me first and they will not buy it. I do not want anyone else to get stuck like me!

Weaknesses Have had nothing but trouble with mine. It has spent more time in the shop then I have owned the tractor. I bought it mainly to cut grass. Nothing but problems out of it!

Strengths good strong tractor, reliable starting, does the task I push on it.

Weaknesses hydrulic steering, quits after a hard workout, eletrical gauages dont work the best, skinny tires.

Overall Overal I give thumbs up for a cheap tractor.

Strengths I dug a pond 40' X 40' and 5' deep from Ga. red clay. I dig stumps, haul lumber, take care of a 400' private road, one acre pond and 4 acres. You need 4wd with a FEL. Plenty of power, enough to get you in trouble if not careful.

Weaknesses Parts are all Metric including the HYD hoses. Can not find this kind of equipment in SE Ga. Homier is getting better but slowly.

Overall I paid less than half the price of a Kobota or JD. Wish I had a parts store down the road it would make me feel better. I have had no major mechanical problems. oil filter for the 2425 is NAPA 1381, fuel NAPA 1395. I have so far not regreted this investment. It has already done what I wanted.
