Strengths I'm not a tractor freak. I'm a far cry from a mechanic. And I don't pretend to understand how this thing works. But I love it. I own a 20 acre horse property and use this tractor daily for pushing manure around, dragging arenas, moving crap from here to there, digging out of Wisconsin snow, and I will soon be mowing with it. It has been a dream to operate. Simple, ergonomic and easy to maintain. Small enough to get down the barn aisles, but big enough that the dairy farmers around here don't make fun of me. John Deere certainly had me in mind when they built this thing. Love it. I've even named it...Mildred.

Weaknesses The front working lights are absolutely useless with a loader attached. I also wish it had a little 'glove box' or something to keep things out of the weather. I also think it would be cool if it made the "beep beep" sound when you back up. My only other complaint is that there really isn't a market out there yet for attachment rentals. The only three point rental I can find is a finsihing rake.

Overall My complaints are trivial. Mildred is my new best friend. Highly recommended for my fellow horse owners.

Strengths Great tractor. Lots of power for the size to do all I need to do around my house and small farm. The loader is as easy to park and mount as JD promises it is. Both mowers seem to work great so far. I like the separate pedals on the hydro drive better than competitors "treadle" design. The layout of the controls ergonomically is much better than that of competitors.

Weaknesses Independent hydraulic option on MMM requires use of loader curl hydraulic function to work so loader and mower can't be totally used at the same time with this setup. It's not a huge deal to switch the lines back and forth but would be nice not to have to.

Overall This seems like an absolutely great tractor so far. I've only had it about two months so far and thus haven't gotten into the heavy mowing season in our area but I have been extremely impressed with its abilities so far. The loader is extremly handy and very capable for the size of this tractor.

Strengths Excellent power from PTO for heavy mowing conditions. Used attachment on finished lawn to 2' fields. 2 Stage Front mount blower very capable and versatile in all conditions of snow.

Weaknesses Had to purchase overhead lighting for snowblowing as stock lighting was too weak and low.

Overall So far an excellent package. In comparison to all other small utility tractors, the best value for the dollar.

Strengths Very powerful tractor/ loader combination for this size machine (I was quite surprised). Controls are easily accessible and comfortable. Very simple to operate. Hydrostatic tranmission is smooth and seperate pedals are a bonus. This machine is about $1000.00 more than the competitors, but it is definitely worth the extra money. The 2305 is an awesome looking machine and is priced much better than it's predecessor, the 2210.

Weaknesses Plastic fender. Head lights are kind of useless with the loader. Noticed "made in China" label on the loader (but what isn't).

Overall Awesome, I have no major complains about this machine. John Deere dealers seem very passionate about their products and thier commitment to providing great servce is outstanding. I am very happy to be a proud owner of such a great product that has provided many years of outstanding reliability to farmers and homeowners across the world.

Strengths Lot's of power in the front end loader for this size tractor, and the ergonomics of the John Deere controls are by far the best! I tried out them all, and found the deere foot pedals awesome and comfortable, and the FEL controller, is located perfect for the arm. Unlike the Kubota and massey, which have the long reach controller, and it hurts your arm if rnning the tractor for long periods. Yes, the Deere maybe more money, but resale is there, just look what a used deere goes for! That's why I bought new too! For a few grand more new!

Weaknesses Hate to see made in China on the loader!!!!!1 But I guess that's all of them now. Only weakness I see right now is the FEL hoses. They hang down too low and can hang up. Will have to change that, but all in all it's a sweet tractor!
