Strengths I was very surprised at the ease of use of the Deere and the implements. The mower produces an immaculate cut, even without a bagger. It has far more power than I expected and the fuel economy has totally surprised me. It is so quiet, even my neighbors have commented it is much better the Sears unit I had been using for the past 7 years. My wife now considers herself a tractor widow.

Weaknesses Would have liked the fuel filler to be not in the middle of the hood.

Overall The fit, finish, and power of the Deere is only exceeded by its usefullness. I have tackled things I would not have dreamed possible!!!

Strengths Everything! This has cut my mowing time in half. No more slow down on the hills. The Backhoe has been a great help with stump and rock removal. The Loader makes landscaping a breeze!

Weaknesses The turning seat for the backhoe is not the easiest thing to use.

Overall Very happy, I would recommend this tractor to anyone.

Strengths The 2305 is not the biggest on the block, but it is all heart, and has never hesitated to perform all that I have asked it to do. Countless Post Hole (6" and 9") and never a wimper, and pasture management. It just feels solid and not a whisper of a problem. At first I shopped price, then I decided, to shop value and performance, and I am glad I did.

Weaknesses Would have liked a tool box of some sort. I'm surprised I have not ripped off the Lights on the Roll Bar yet... there must be a better place for them.

Overall Could not be happier, glad I chose the 2305, a great little performer.

Strengths Fantastic speed and agility, 3 year warranty, power in spades, ease of use, twin pedal hydro is excellent.Cuts even wet long grass with ease.Dealer (in NZ) was excellent.

Weaknesses Fuel filler should be lower and on one fender. No cubby box. No 12v supply. Warning lights obscured by steering wheel - overheat should be linked to fuel shut off to prevent damage. Lights OK but do not illuminate mower edges or mowing area. Hydraulic connectors too low and exposed to mud etc. No temperature guage. Indicators on ROPS are just asking to get ripped off by branches. Doh!

Overall A very very good machine that narrowly misses being "excellent" due to some minor omissions on Deere's part. My dealer is fitting a 12v supply and working lights but the fact that critical warning lights cannot easily be seen is a basic error, especially when there is no temperature guage.I compared it against a Kubota BX2350 and the newer Kubota had a few aesthetic wins. However, the Deere was a better machine imho.

Strengths Loader of and on is a breeze, loader works well and this tractor and loader will do alot more than its size!You can mow any length of grass ,and is very comfortable to operate,and been using it in snow,and its amazing what this size tractor will do!

Weaknesses one weakness radiator seeems to gather grass, must clean out periodically

Overall easy to drive, turns short, like driving a much bigger tractor,and very comfortable, and easy on the body, I've got 145 hours on it,and would recomend this tractor to anyone!

Strengths Awsome torque as compared to my old 97 855.snow removal is a dream with the hydro drive system

Weaknesses poor lighting with the front end loader at night. lacks a tool box.

Overall This is a real peach of a tractor with lots of potential for future add ons. very workable

Strengths Great overall tractor! Plenty of power for its size and the turning radius is excellent. The loader is very easy to use and to attach/detach. My entire family likes to use it!

Weaknesses Needs a toolbox. I only use a standard JD rear blade when operating the loader and the tractor wants to tip forward when the bucket is fully loaded. Definetly would recommend a box blade with some extra weight.

Overall Awesome tractor!! Paid a little more but it was definetly worth it.

Strengths Great little tractor, goes anywhere, does pretty much all you can ask for. Used the FEL to level for a driveway and shed and had no problem digging down 3-4 inches at a time. Never hesitated. The time to cut grass is amazing and it acts like my old LX176 for turning. Fantastic service

Weaknesses Radiator. On my third, now have about 20 hours on this one. Would hit bumps in the yard when mowing and split the rad. Dealer used the service bulleting the first time and the last time added a bracket on each side to attacth the rad mount to the engine mount. Result-no more issues mnuch stronger.

Overall Great tractor for the pric and will do everything you need. Radiator was a weakness but no longer if it is reinforced to move with the engine and not independently.

Strengths Excellent starting, comfortable to ride on and work with. Turns sharp and seems to have excellent traction. Loader works smooth and will lift more than the tractor can support at height. Did cost more than Kubota, but I think it's a MUCH better value. I will be keeping this one for many years.

Weaknesses Needs better lights and could use a tool box. Wished the 3-point hitch control had settable depth settings. Other than these, no other weaknesses.

Overall Glad I waited for John Deere to get the bugs worked out of the 2210. This updated tractor seems to be well worth the wait. John Deere has taken the compact tractor to a new level. This is one supurb machine for what it does!! Also, the dealer has to be the absolute best one here in the North Country. Ray is honest and will work towards the best deal he can muster. And his product support is second to none.

Strengths Far more power than expected for a small tractor. The FEL is a breeze to operate and even have my wife plowing snow when I am away.MMM will finish mow my two acres in 1/4 the time my old ride on would and burn 1/2 the fuel. The backhoe attachment although not a JD attachment was recommended by dealer. Its independant hydraulic system doesnot heat up and slow down like others that function off of the tractors system.

Weaknesses Headlamps are terrible and would like to have had a temp. gauge to monitor operating temp. Warning lights are usually too late and damage is already done by the time they come on.

Overall Great tractor and will keep it for a long time.
