Implements : 200CX FEL, 62" MMM, 647 tiller, iMatch
Purchased From : GreenImage Equipment
Strengths LOVE the loader, especially the quick-attach feature.
Turn radius much better than expected. Previously had F935 front mower which was naturally much better, but the 2305 does fine.
iMatch very easy to use. A must for 3-pt hitch.
Very smooth, easy to operate overall. Quiet.
Weaknesses Biggest complaint is that radiator very prone to plugging up with loose dry materials, then will overheat but hard to see over-temp lite in daylight. I now clean it on every use.
Can't seem to get the MMM lifted very high in locked position with FEL connected - a big nuisance.
Overkill on operator safety interlocks! If you have to get off the tractor while mowing (for example, to move an obstacle in the lawn), you have to turn off the PTO and shift into neutral or it automatically kills the engine. What a nuisance!
No glove/tool box as others have mentioned, thus no place to keep any small items except in cup holder.
ROPS is a big annoyance - can't see any benefit, but am constantly smashing it into low braches - broke turn signal lites on ROPS on first usage!
Would have liked independent rear brakes.
Overall Dealer excellent.
Serviceability much improved over earlier Deere products.
I got the R4 tires which are easy on the lawn and almost eliminate the need to engage the 4wd even on hills.
Despite my long list of weaknesses, I love the unit and would strongly recommend to others. Easily handles everything I need to do on a 12 acre property. If I were to re-do my purchase, I might consider a slightly larger unit, but when the 2305 does such a good job it would be hard to justify spending more.

Implements : 200CX Loader, Rear BB, 54"MMM, 3pt cement mixer
Purchased From : Robert E Little Inc. - PA
Strengths Quiet, Fast, very easy to maneuver. Now that I have used the tractor for over a year, I can safely say that it's a real pleaure to own.
Weaknesses None. I would be nice if the bucket had just another 8-12 inches of reach.
Overall The tractor gets used quite a bit, mostly manure management, harrowing, light excavating and mixing cement. I can't think of any complaints, well worth the price for the reliability, durability, overall ease of use and simple maintainence. Another plus, at least in my area is the deere's really hold their value compared to other brands.

Strengths TURNING RADIUS BLEW ME AWAY!! THE LOADER IS EASY TO USE,AND IS AS EASY AS MY SALESPERSON SAID TO ATTACH-DETACH. ENGINE IS VERY STRONG AND LOVE HOW QUIET IT IS! I BORROWED A TILLER TO RE-DO MY 2 ACRE YARD,AND IT HANDLED IT WITH NO PROBLEM. I MOW 2 ACRE AND HAVE CUT MY MOWING TIME IN HALF!! LOVE IT!
Weaknesses LIGHTS ON THE FRONT ARE HORRIBLE IF THE LOADER IS ATTACHED. NEED TO GET THE LIGHTS FOR THE ROPS.
Overall LOVE IT! I SHOPPED EVERY TRACTOR IN ITS CLASS...MASSEY,CUB,KUBOTA,MAHINDRA,AND A CHINESE TRACTOR(?. I SPENT AT LEAST ONE HOUR WITH EACH OF THESE OTHERS, AND THE 2305 WAS FAR AND ABOVE THE BEST FIT AND FINISH,EASE OF USE,POWER, AND IT HAS BEEN EVERYTHING I EXPECTED...AND MORE

Strengths Fast, Powerful, quiet. Great on hills. The 4 wheel drive was a lifesaver for me. I have a lot of hills and I burnt out my smaller John Deere tractor.
Weaknesses The commercial tires dig into the lawn when it is wet. I would suggest the landscaping tires for just grass work.
Overall It is perfect!

Implements : FEL, Belly Mower, Land Pride box blade
Purchased From : David's Stove Shop, Weatherford, TX
Strengths The 24 hp diesel has plenty of power, is quiet and efficient. FEL, Box Blade implements are an ideal combination. With the box blade, this tractor can move a lot of dirt and even tear out small stumps. The turning radius isn't much bigger than a lawn tractor. I was concerned about the turf tires but find they provide plenty of traction. Although JD doesn't offer many attachments for the 2305, other brands are available.
Weaknesses An on-board tool box or glove box would be nice.
Overall I thought it may be overkill for my slightly over 1 acre, but I'm glad I bought it now. I have plenty of grading and landscaping to do. I haven't touched my wheel barrow and shovel since I bought the 2305. I moved 2 tons of river rock in about one hour. My salesman was excellent; gave me the pro's and con's on the machines I was considering. I highly recommend this JD dealer. I absolutely love it.

Strengths The deisel is unstoppable mows through tall grass at top speed without slowing down. All controls and functions are well layed out. Will use the loader for snow removal this winter it's as easy to install and remove as they say. 4WD is a must, will pull itself out of wet soil easily.
Weaknesses Lighting. No high-low

Implements : FEL, Rotary Cutter, Rear Blade, Imatch
Purchased From : White & Sons, St. James, MO
Strengths This machine is FUN to use! The price I paid included the implements listed, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performs in the real world. I was a little hesitant about getting a tractor this small, but so far, cutting tall brush and trimming hayfields with the LX4 rotary cutter and blading my 500 foot gravel driveway have been easy tasks for it. The 200CX loader is as easy to mount and dismount as Deere claims, and has been so nice to have for yard work and general use around the place. (My chiropractor may have to miss his next boat payment!) The Imatch system is definitely worth the price - it makes hooking up the implements so easy on this tight, new tractor. Four wheel drive, which I thought was going to be only a nice extra, is really a necessity on a tractor this size. Here in the hilly Ozarks, on my uneven land, it's not too difficult to get it in a position where one back wheel spins. In 4WD, though, I haven't been able to stop it yet. The diesel engine starts fast and so far has had plenty of power for any task I've thrown at it.
Weaknesses It really needs a tool box! Other than that, I can't think of a thing.
Overall I struggled for months on whether to buy this tractor or spend less than half this amount to buy a used, larger tractor for my 10 acres. Granted, a bigger rig with better hydraulics may be better for the field work and the driveway, but would have been totally unsuitable for spreading mulch on the gardens or mowing our acre of yard, which I hope to do next year with the Deere. The 2305 doesn't leave any more mark in the yard than my riding lawn mower does, yet it still has the power to take on the bigger tasks, albeit a bit slower than a larger tractor would. This isn't necessarily a bad thing - as I mentioned before, it's fun to drive! I compared it to a similar 4WD 25hp twin-cylinder gas Cub Cadet, and found the Deere clearly superior, at least on the test drive around the dealer's parking lot. The Deere just felt bigger and beefier. The Cub Cadet is a fine machine, I'm sure, but it seemed more like an overgrown lawn mower, where the 2305 seemed more like a small tractor. So far, I love it!
