Implements : 5' tiller, 5' bush hog
Purchased From : Wright Implement Co. Owensoro KY
Strengths Handles very well, seems to have plenty power for a tractor that size. I purchased the tractor new along with a 5' bush hog and a 5' tiller. The tractor handles both of these implements with ease.
Weaknesses Biggest problem I have had with the tractor is with the loader. The tilt cylinders bleed off and will dump the bucket if you don't continually bump the control to bring the bucket back. I took the tractor back to the dealer I bought it from and they checked the loader and said it was normal for a cylinder that size to bleed off. They told me the tilt cylinders could bleed off up to 14" in an hour and that was within John Deere's allowable tollerance. I don't agree at all. Like the tractor, not so much the loader.
Overall Like the tractor, even though it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of some of the other models it's a nice tractor with plenty of power for a compact tractor. My first John Deere tractor, always been a Ford man. With the loader issues, don't know if I made the right move. Time will tell.

Purchased From : Middle Town Tractor Sales
Strengths Very easy to use, Lots of power for its size.Great machine for the money.I love the quick detach bucket.Seems to get decent fuel economy also.
Weaknesses Only think i can see is i wish you could get a frame attached backhoe.
Overall Great machine. I read several others complained about bucket lift but I have had the rear tires clear off the ground several times and I move 4X4 and 4X5 round bales all the time, guess im just wondering what there trying to move :)

Strengths Great tractor. No problems so far with my tractor.
Weaknesses Frontier rear plow bent easily. Frontier wouldnt cover it even though I only had it a month. John Deere covered it but took over three months to get it back.Dont spend extra to buy implements from John Deere. Buy implements some where else.
Overall Great tractor, slow dealer service.Frontier implements are not worth the money

Price Paid : $0.00
Years of Use : 1-year
Implements : rotary cutter, tiller, middlebuster. planters
Purchased From : spring 2009
Strengths Price, Size, easy to handle
Weaknesses It's been in the shop almost three weeks now. PTO doesn't work and John Deere doesn't seem to know how to fix the problem, new switches didn't fix it the first week they came and got it. I have no tractor.
Overall Tractor did a good job the first 11 months now it's been in the shop for almost 3 weeks. Hope this isn't a sign of what I have to look forward to with this tractor. I grandfather was all-ways a Ford and New Holland man. Maybe I should have stayed with what all-ways worked in the past.

Implements : 5ft FM, 2 bottom plow, 6 ft disk, middle buster, post hole digger etc
Purchased From : JD in Virginia
Strengths Ease of use, pulling power, simplicity, durability, size vs power
Weaknesses bucket lift capacity, no rear remotes (you can add a kit for about $750)
Overall A great compact tractor for the price. I use it almost everyday to haul dirt, landscape, plow/disk and culitivate a large garden...it is ideal for those small farmers who want to save your back from moving things around

Implements : 300X loader, 1160 roto tiller, 1072E grooming mower
Purchased From : JD Equipment - WCH, Ohio
Strengths Superb and surprising power for a smaller tractor (both loader and implements), wonderful ease of handling.
Weaknesses Any weakness I could list would take this tractor out of the economy class, but I'll list them anyway:
1.) No standard cruise control
2.) Needs and air ride seat (you get bounced around a bit on rougher terrain)
3.) Needs telescoping hitch link arms
These don't affect the performance of the tractor at all, but they're frills that I wouldn't mind having.
Overall Overall, this tractor and the 3038E are the best values in compact tractors on the market. Best bang for the buck by far!

PRICE, POWER, EASE OF OPERATION... AND YES, YOU CAN PUT A BACKHOE ON THIS TRACTOR. IT MAY HAVE TO BE 3 POINT HITCH MOUNTED BUT IT'S CERTAINLY AN OPTION.
Weaknesses THE 3032E IS A CUSTOMER SPECIFIC TRACTOR, FRONT MOUNTED IMPLEMENTS (SNOW BLOWERS, BROOMS, ETC.) AND MID MOUNT MOWERS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE. THE 305 LOADER IS BUILT SPECIFICALLY FOR THE 3E SERIES AND IS STRIPPED DOWN IN COMPARISON TO THE C/CX MODELS. IT'S A BOLT ON LOADER AND CAN'T BE PARKED.
Overall GOOD TRACTOR FOR THE PRICE. A GREAT ADDITION TO THE 3000 SERIES FROM JOHN DEERE.

Implements : cutter loader box blade
Purchased From : Georgia
Strengths It has plenty of power for a 5 foot bush hog, and a 5 foot tiller, even in thick tough conditions. It's easier to operate than the 790 tractor. The cruise control is handy for cutting large areas. Loader works surprisingly well for a small tractor.
Weaknesses Can't put a bellymower on it, or a backhoe. In my case I don't need them.
Overall Nice simple tractor. Not much fancy electronic stuff to tear up. It's smooth and easy to operate. My wife and I both use it several times a week.

Strengths Powerful Yanmar 32 hp. Ability to use all 5 foot implements. Loader controls easy to use.
