Strengths Great tractor the the Money. Love the Cab. Love the eHydro. My tractor is 18 months old, and I just rolled 500 hrs. I dig the 300CX loader...pun intended.
Weaknesses Having trouble with my front tires rolling over the rim while mowing. Feels tippy and light. Hydraulic lines going to the front steering strut keep snagging sticks and breaking the fittings.
Overall Much better than the 2003 4310 shuttle shifter open cab JD I traded in. (It didnt have any problems, even at 5700 hrs, but it lacked the fit and finish of the 20 series).

Strengths Tractor is a work horse. No complaints there. It's done everything I've asked of it for the last 8 months. I sold a 40HP Kioti and replaced it with the JD3520 and it was a night and day difference. This is a nice, hard running machine.
Weaknesses As many others have mentioned, it's a bit narrow and seems like it wants to tip. I've had all 4 tires liquid filled and it continues to wobble a bit. Has anyone reversed the wheels/tires? Has this helped?
Overall Overall this is a great, strong running tractor.

Strengths Have Deluxe CAB version. Tried out a fully loaded one before I bought it. No issues with any of the features. Unit does what I want and more. I switched to Turk specials almost immediately to increase the sability significantly. I considered spacers, but since I had the Turf Specials, I went with those. Hydraulics are fine. Interior ergonomics are fine. I have slopes on my property and the unit pulls them all with AC, MMM, and rear weight with no issues. I use it for plowing snow, landscape work, lifting, and for mowing. Good HVAC and I added SAT Radio. This unit starts up in very cold weather (15 deg the lowest), so I think I may be lucky on this unit. It really does not seem to care.
It had the bad Roof seal issue and some dirt in the rear hydralics, but those were both taken care of via its warranty.
Weaknesses With the orignal tires, the unit can be a bit tippy on slopes. However it is probably more of a feeling that an actually tip risk on my property, I am careful. Nothing else is significantly wrong on this unit for me. I do wish the Horn was better, Back-up warning alarm not being an option, and I wish it had a warning alarm for trying to drive off with the parking brake engaged. The mirror kit, is one i would not recommend buying as i bump into the mirros all the time in the position i need them to be useful - Ouch.
Overall Very good unit for the money. Stablity on my 4310 was bette but it was 2" wider in stance and lower in height, and it was an OS. Love not geting exposed ot the weather any more!

Implements : 300cx, 60"mower deck,loaded r4's
Purchased From : dealer
Strengths Good power and features. Loader built well. Love the cruise control.
Weaknesses Ergonomics poor for short person. I had to make extensions for pedals to keep seat back far enough to reach dif lock pedal. Just used my mower deck for the second time and it ate the belt. Will take to dealer tommorow. Added rear hydraulics for wood splinter. Have to hold lever open with strap to run splinter.
Overall Traded for kubota b2400. Happy so far except for belt issue.

Strengths nice all around tractor for my accrage use. Good turning, good power and very nice cab. Like the cruse control used for many applications like rototilling
Weaknesses very ilght in the back, poor traction, and and i almost tiped it over onto its side several times. I was ready to get rid of it, then i took it to a tire shop to put fluid in the back tires and turned it into a real tractor. I could not believe how much of a difference it made but it took 2mph off of the top speed for transport down the road. Rides better at all speeds. It was worth it. Very poor starting in winter, will not start unless pluged in after -10f and my kubota never let me down.
Overall Like the cruse control, i use it rototilling and transport

Implements : 6ft brush mower, 6ft box Blade, Carry All, Seeder.
Purchased From :
Strengths Pretty Good Power. Many nice features that other tractors this size don't have. Speedo, LoadMatch, MotionMatch. Controls are in good places and work good.
Weaknesses Junk Galaxy tires are of little to no use in anything but mowing grass, which I don't do. Waiting for my Michelins to come it.
Tractor to light in the rear end. Needs more weight from the factory back there. Needs to be a little wider in stance. More articulation of front axle over unlevel ground.
Need exhaust coming out the top, so it doesn't blow back in your face.
Parts are to high priced, but that is just John Deere.
Overall Really like the tractor. I have to run the 4wd a lot to get anything really done, because it spins so badly in 2wd. But other than that, the quality seems good and it is very nicely appointed. Adequate power for most things. Slick little rig.

Strengths Powerful and easy to maneuver. Tight circles. Clean running engine; hardly any fumes. Starts right up.
Weaknesses I bought the 500 air suspension seat thinking it would be as comfortable as the one on my JD 6420 (an option which costs the same on both tractors) and the one for the 3520 is all but worthless. Its basically an air-adjustable spring with no dampening or float.
Also, the deck doesnt travel very much so I sheared off a mounting bolt when I had the deck in the up position and drove over a threshold. I have a feeling I'll be replacing these on a regular basis.
Overall This Yanmar JD is much better than the Yanmar JD 4015 I traded in. The 4015 is a piece of junk. Biggest mistake I ever made but got a decent trade value to get the 3520. If I had it to do over I might have looked at some other brands....New Holland, Massey, Case, etc, but the 3520 is a keeper...for now.

Implements : 300 cx loader, tooth bar, 72" plow attachment for loader
Purchased From : SYTT / Shrewsbury, PA
Strengths Plenty of Power, both tractor and implement
ehydro and loadmatch
comfortable operators station
controls are well placed
plenty of attachments available
Weaknesses loaded R4's are a little suspect in snow
ride is pretty bumpy on rough terrain
Overall Overall a very nice unit. The R4's arent the greatest for traction in snow and mud. I have mine loaded plus wheel weights. I thought a 4000 pound tractor would have a little smoother ride then it does. Feels more like my 425 garden tractor then an ag tractor. I would purchase this unit again in the 3x20 series. Would also consider a 4x20 if I had it to do over again. I really thought the 3520 was overkill for what I needed but these things "shrink" after you own them awhile. I gave it a 9 instead of 10 only because of the short time I've owned it.
