Strengths solid machine well powered i run a cemetery and haukl a 4x8 dump trailer behind it and it handles it perfect. full load of dirt no problem. i have just worn out our 54" mower and replaced it with a new one. tractor is still going strong. snow blower is amazing!!

Weaknesses seems a bit hard on fuel but the tank is smaller too

Overall super great machine would buy another anytime

Strengths Good power for the size. Plenty of PTO strength w/brush hogging and mowing. Mine is gear driven, but still easy to operate.

Weaknesses Anyone who has one....BEWARE of the front axles. I use plenty of rear ballist with front loader use, however I have have both front axles break in the past 6 months. (less than a month out of warrenty for the 1st) The part that has broken is the piece that connects the front hubs to the axle and steering arms. When this has happened the enter wheel comes off the tractor!!!! I've been lucky to not get hurt. John Deere did step to the plate to pay 2/3 cost of repair on the first,...1/2 on the second and is apply additional John Deere $$$ towards my new one. I applaud them for that, especially since the 2nd was 6 months out of warrenty. They said they've never seen it happen before. I only have about 400 hrs on my unit and have to wonder if there is a poor design. By the way... the repairs are over $1100. be careful with your use

Overall With the exception of the axles, I love my tractor. It has saved me a lot of work. I highly reccomend JD...just not this unit b/c of safety with the axles.

Strengths This tractor is nimble, has a tight turn radius, and is strong for its size. The hydrostatic is great and the tractor itself is easy to use.

Weaknesses I can't believe they didn't include a cup holder! It has also has run out of power lifting larger rocks and stumping.

Overall I love this tractor! It is my first tractor and can't believe I waited this long to get it. I used it in the fall to clean up some rocks and stumps. This winter it moved the snow in my driveway with ease and was fun to drive. I can't wait to use it more this summer. I would recommend this tractor to any entry level buyer or anyone else looking for a small, compact tractor around 20 hp.

Strengths No mechanical problems. Mows great. Has taken everything I've thrown at it. I love the tractor

Weaknesses No cupholder!
