Strengths 4WD gives versatility not found in 2wd models. Diesel engine has plenty of torque for this hp range. Controls well placed and easy to use. Good visibility except in the dark. Economical fuel use.

Weaknesses Many accessories/parts no longer available from JD. Can always use more horsepower. Headlight placement conflicts with the front loader. Additional lighting would be req'd for extended nighttime use.

Overall I've used this tractor to bush hog various properties, disc up food plots, mow my yard using an 11' batwing mower and clean-up brush around the farm. It has been an excellent tractor for these uses.

Strengths Very easy tractor to use. Short learning curve. Great power I have 4wd and have been in black mud to middle of rear tire never stuck. Starts every time fun tractor very reliable. Would buy another.

Weaknesses Plastic hood and cowl crack easily. Very cheap no support from John Deere to replace parts free or at a discount.

Overall very good tractor easy to use and a work horse for my area
