Strengths This tractor has great ergonomic controls, plenty of power (it pulled a rotary cutter through head-high weeds with no trouble), reasonably good turning radius (I’m used to an antique with tricycle front end), plenty of lift on the front end loader. In general, this is a very useful machine for utility applications.
Weaknesses The machine could use a slight improvement for entry/egress on the right hand side - with the loader installed, it a tight squeeze between the steering wheel and the bucket control valve. One solution is to always raise the seat before departure, but that isn't something I remember to do.
It is hard to start if the temperature is lower than 20 degrees F.
Overall Very pleased with the machine so far (July 2009 to January 2010). I've put about 70 hours on it doing various tasks including rotary cutter usage, light dirt work, brush pile creation and general use (hauling firewood, dragging logs from the timber, piling manure in compost pile, etc).
