Strengths This is a first impression from a first time tractor owner. I believe the tractor will do all the grade, leveling, clearing, mowing, and lifting I have to do on my 9 acres. The first thing I noticed is the thoughtful location of the shifter and loader joy stick. I naturally drive with my left hand and do the shifting/loader work with my right. Changing from the bucket to the pallet forks is really easy. I don't know if I will ever need my wheel barrow again. I plan to have some hayrides and the trailer lighting connection is cool. I won't have to work in really bad conditions so I bought the 2wd with the industrial tires. Those tires seem to spread out the load and not rut as I've seen with the Ag tires. The joy stick is mounted on the tractor and not the loader. I like that because it will be stored in the barn with the tractor. The detachable loader may be left out from time to time. Also I understand that the joystick will be under warrenty longer with the tractor. I recently took up some fence (old round pin) that was set in concrete. I can't imagine having a tractor without a loader and this lifting capacity.
Weaknesses Maybe after the newness wears off I'll see some weaknesses but right now the tractor is a new toy and is going way beyond my expectations.
Overall I wish my autombile buying experience could be like my tractor.

Price Paid : $18,500.00
Years of Use : 2+ Years
Implements : 510 loader, brushhog , blade, posthole digger, bale spear
Purchased From : deer trail kansas
Strengths Starts well in cold weather, plenty of horse power. Cutting heavy brush does not drop the rpm. this is a fun tractor to drive , the controls are easy to access. You can move two round bales at a time
Weaknesses You definetely need rear wheel weights or a ballast box. 250lbs in the bucket will make you loose traction. If you pick up a bale on the front, don't expect to go anywhere with it unless you put one on the back also.
The 3 point got stuck in the up position once, the dealer fixed it under warranty, no problem
Overall This a great tractor ideal for horse farm or small acreag. The 510 or 512 loader is a must.

Strengths Smooth and quiet running engine. Controls are well situated. Good fuel economy. Push button PTO with soft engage is very nice.
Weaknesses Have had unit in shop three times in 6 months. Hydraulic issues are endless. Filter, filter manifold, hydraulic lines and now hydraulic pump have been replaced. STILL not operating correctly...pump sputters sending loader bouncing around. 3 point often feels "spongy" and soft. Brakes somehow squeel when stopping in reverse. 4wd turns will darn near buck you out of the seat, much worse than other 4wd tight turns. No leveling box on synchro shuttle units. 3 point leveling threads do not stay locked. Implements are always un-level. Dealer says many units have similar issues, only most people seem to be ok with it or don't know better.
Overall I would stay away from the Iseki built 1500 Massey series. Trade in value from original dealer on larger ,NON 1500 series unit, was only $13,000 just 6 months after paying $18,000 for it and it is immaculate.

Strengths starts even in the coldest temps. moves two large round bales at a time. 1 forward and one aft. I have a small horse operation and it serves my purposes well. Small enough to maneuver in tight spots. has saved me the cost of rental of a bobcat many times.
Weaknesses remotes are add-ons that will cost you an additional $700+. I am in the market for a small round bailer but the limited h.p. is a problem for that chore.
Overall Service from the dealer has been great. I had a problem with one of the cylinders on the loader and they were right out to fix it. So far with less than 100 hours in 1.5 years I am very content.
