Strengths nope, there is a nope, there is a tractor out their that we use. i had ienhrited it from my uncle about ten years ago, it is in need of a tune up, with work it is hard to find time to keep up with it. as soon as it warms back up i plan to give it a tune up, my nephews love listening to it pop while she runs,lol.

Strengths Good strong chassis and cuts well

Weaknesses This mower constantly breaks down and VERY expensive to repair. Tires go flat easily. I replaced the front tires with solid rubber tires. In less than 5 years I have had this mower in the shop about half of that time. I had the hydraulic pump fail. Then the heads failed. They said it was caused by grass on the engine but that is garbage because we kept it clean enough to eat off of. Then I was able to mow another 2 months and the heads failed again. Got it fixed yet again and a couple months later the whole engine blew up. The John Deere shop has actually had this mower more than I have over the last two years. Latest bill if I choose to fix the mower is 3500 for a new engine. I am going to look for a different brand engine since this one is clearly plagued with problems that should have prevented it from ever being produced.

Overall I will never buy or recommend this equipment.

Strengths Mows grass nicely. very fast.

Weaknesses Requires lots of maintenance. Have replaced many belt idler and tensioner pulleys on both mower deck and mule. Not good on operator comfort.

Overall Will not purchase another JD mower. Going to Kubota or Scag or Grasshopper.

Strengths Its Green

Weaknesses Its Green, very expensive. Don't wash, but keep clean. You have to blow the grass from the air cooling fins almost daily, which is difficult to reach. Missed one time and had to replace head $700. Don't worry John Deere will give you a screen(installation extra) to help prevent such things from happening. Go figure!

Overall Very unhappy. I have other types of mowers that require 1/4 of the maintenance at 1/2 the cost. Will never own another!

Strengths Cuts mowing time in half. 2 acres every 4-5 days. Good blade speed stays ahead of the grass intake. very easy to operate. no electric motors to break down. extra strong one-piece deck that takes a lick without readjusting the alignment. Good on gas!

Weaknesses no beer cooler

Overall Would buy again. good quality. Note: buy an extra deck belt until you learn how to mow all over again!
