Strengths Good Solid Power, 42" Two Blade Deck, High Back Seat. This mower is a sort of Hybrid Between the L110 and the L120 - has hydrostatic trans, 20HP B&S Motor and bigger tires than the 110. Lacks the 48" Deck and the Electric PTO of the L120. If you have to bag heavy damp grass using the standard bagger, the 42" two blade deck will do a better job than the 48" 3 blade decks - unless you go to the Power-Flo bagger on the L120 or L130
Weaknesses Wish it had the electric PTO and same tires as the L120
Overall Best 42" Mower you can get in the Price Point. John Deere service is second to none (at least in Spokane WA) Will do a lot of work for you with a few accessories. We have 5 acres and it does a lot for us, mowing, hauling, snow removal.
