Strengths Good looking mower, smooth cut,easy to manuver

Weaknesses Huge lack of power, luggs engine when engaging PTO, pumps whine to load vs my 757, for the price mower should have had a 27hp-30hp engine.

Overall I like the mower, im one of the guys that have just been a john deere cutomer for years but if i had to repurchase a new mower i would do a Kubota or Scagg.Just too much money for what you get out of the john deere these days.The ride doesnt even compar to the Kubota or scagg, nor does the power

Strengths comfortable controls, easy servicing, mulch -on-demand

Weaknesses with mulch kit, 'streaks' in high grass much more so thatn exmark, tends to leave twist marks in grass if not careful, will not cut high grass well with mulch kit, hydro pump issues if used in extreme commercial conditions, front tires give easily when hopping curbs, doesn't feel as nimble as exmark or toro.

Overall needs bigger tires, opt for the z830 or 840 with a 60' deck,extra hp is a plus.

Strengths Nice features, Comfortable, Awesome cut!!

Weaknesses Not powerful enough to start the blades without bogging or to go uphill without bogging. Seems to be a problem among all the Z820A models.

Overall Great machine, but needs more power.
