Strengths Turning radius, easy to use, safe, powerful, cruse control, warrenty(thank God)

Weaknesses Reliability...first winter snow blower had a manufacturing defect and I had to charge battery multiple times to get it to start. Second summer wouldn't start, some design problem requiring upgraded electrical module and new stronger battery, third summer manufacturer installed engine block plug began to leak(it was installed cross thread), Have to clean battery connections 2-3 thimes per year, As I write this engine won't start some problem with RIO Lever/switch or ignition switch. It just gets better and better.

Overall There is a new problem every year or so. Stuff that you'd think a company with the history and experience of John Deere would not have. I could have bought a lawn tractor for half the price and less than half the problems...but then I wouldn't have a Deere. Do Lemon laws apply to lawn equipment?

Strengths the X360 is a great lawn tractor- 48" 3 blade mower deck does a great job of mowing, power steering , tilt and the power lift on the mower deck is great.

Weaknesses a gas guage would be nice, but not all that necessary- I fill with gas and chech the oil each time I mow anyway.

Overall overall great performance, great ride, good seat, great steering and a good mower.

Strengths POWERFUL Kawasaki engine and hydro. Tight turn. Very comfortable to operate. Very sure-footed on uneven ground

Weaknesses It could use a 12V power port (is available as an option) and differential lock. I really wished that it had "O-crap" handles on the rear fenders- they are missed when mowing sideways on a steep hill.

Overall I Love this mower. I have a small yard but I have very steep hills to contend with. I started out with a new LA145 and the hydro wouldn't pull the small hill in my front yard and was afraid to try on the big hills in the back yard. My local JD dealership took it back under the JD promise - no questions asked. I upgraded to a x360 and added "knobby" tires. No problems with the hills now.

Strengths Power Steering, Hydraulic Implement Lift, 22HP Motor, Hydrostatic Transmission; Easy implement change out once tractor set up for it;deck water flushimg connection nice to have;suit case weights better than wheel wgts. Seems well built.

Weaknesses Lack of illuminated tail lights; transparent plastic fuel tank with graduations on it serves as a poor fuel gauge; had to purchase a $20 defelector to keep the hot engine air exhaust from burning lawn when stopped in idle while cutting grass; mix of metric and american fasteners used in assy of tractor; rear tires too small; lack of a 2 speed transaxle

Overall I preferred an X-500 series tractor but couldn't get it with power steering & hydraulic implement lift. I like the heavier construction of the X-500, illuminated tail lights,larger rear tires, and triple bagger option but the extra cost w/o the pwr strg & hyd lift made the X-360 my choice. It is great for mowing and snow removal.

Overall rather cheaply made,hyd. lift knob broken already. battery had to be replaced, NO fuel gauge, no light on back, FOR the money they could have done better,

Strengths Power and Tilt Steering, power lift, easy seat adjustments:weight & fore/aft, smooth and powerful engine, deck wash, serviceable trans axle: filter and fuild.

Weaknesses NO fuel gauge Wish the rear axle had the Trac button and was a little heavier built.

Overall Very comfortable and easy to operate lawn mower.

Strengths Power/tilt steering, hydraulic lift for attachments, powerful 22hp engine, and a very comfortable adjustable seat.

Weaknesses Can’t install a rotor tiller, no differential lock, and no fuel gauge.

Overall Overall I think the tractor is great. I have a 48” mower and a 44” 2 stage snow blower. They go on and off the tractor very easily (once setup) without tools. I was not looking for power steering just the hydraulic lift. But with the hydraulic lift comes power steering. After driving around with a 200lb snow blower on the front of the tractor I really like having power steering now. I considered the X540 because of the differential lock and the fact that I could put a rotor tiller on but could not justify the additional $2000-$2500. This is a great tractor if lawn mowing and snow removal is your main duty. I think this will be a strong selling tractor for John Deere.

Strengths Great features such as power and tilt steering, hydraulic lift. The tractor has a comfortable ride and is easy to operate
