Strengths versatile, work saver, Built new house. Landscaped, dug stumps, moved gravel, dirt, Mulch, etc. Blows snow like nothing else, saves money, time and most importantly my back. Did I mention it will move BIG rocks, No not car sized rocks but rocks no man can move by hand

Weaknesses Needs skid plate on Xfer case. yes, I have BIG rocks. Seat is less than easy to use, and it could use the upgraded alternator for additional lights.

Overall I could not be happier. One other thing as a new operator, only 500+ hours on this machine I will tell you these guys with 50 hours and say it isn't big enough just have not yet learned how to use it. It will dig almost any stump yes even two footers, but you are not going to work like a escavator

Strengths so far everything. i had it delievered to the farm and the delear explained everything

Weaknesses none......after 2.5 hrs that i had it. i went to put it up and it had a hydro leak. Service dept guy acame down on his own time and checked it out and picked it up the next morning and then had it back on the farm on the next day

Overall 10out of 10.....just can't go wrong witha bota

Strengths More power for it's size than you will need. Size great for tight areas. Dependability! I purchased the BX24 to finish the landscaping of my daughters new log home, moved 80 tons of 2" stone, pea stone bank run and traprock. I also dug out stumps bolders and drainage ditches. Now I am done and can't give up the machine, I will just have to do local jobs to continue the fun!

Weaknesses Won't lift a 2000 lb. rock. (But it will bury it)

Overall Great machine, surpassed my expectations for everything I asked it to do.

Strengths plenty of power even at low R.P.M. diesel engine performs much better than gasoline and cost efficient. Tractor is very well built compared to the other tractors I have owned over the years (Simplicity, John Deere). Current model year Simplicity & Deere's are not as good as they were back when I bought them in the 60's & 70's Kubota still has the look and feel of a tractor that will still be around after putting it through it's pace for the next 20yrs. the way my old Simplicity's have. Everyone I show it to have been very impressed.

Weaknesses Very poor customer service with the dealership. Every issue became a BIG issue whenever the tractor was brought back to the dealer for service.General warranted items and maintainance service were charged and overpriced for work that should have been covered on the warranty. The dealer had the tractor on 3-4 separate occasions to perform the requested warranty work and did not follow through or complete the task. Went to another dealer(Akron Tractor)all work was completed in a satisfactory manner, and was not charged for the work that was done! Their response was we want your bussiness. My brother-in-law and I each bought a tractor from Sterling equipment and did not receive the kind of treatment the way Akron tractor took care of us. So I am not going to let this incident change the way I view Kubota since the dealer is at fault on this one.This tractor BX22 was unbelieveable this winter with the snow, first time I have ever used a tractor to plow snow without tire chains, all my Simplicity&Deere required them!!

Overall I would buy another Kubota. but would be very selective of where I purchase the tractor since customer service can cause you to lose faith in the product you purchase, especially when have to keep relying on the repeated phone calls to the corporate office to get results & satisfaction!! Would like to see a tach. on the dashboard for engine speed.Also paint seems to chip and flake off very easy.

Strengths 120 hours. Provides 1 engine to maintain. Easily operates larger 3-pt attachments. Changing attachements not bad once you get the hang of it. Backhoe and FEL removal and installation not bad once you get the hang of it.

Weaknesses I wish ROPS bar folder down further, (ouch!) Curl of FEL bucker a little weak. Would have been nice to have a tach! Easy to drive with brake still on, light would have been nice. FEL float valve prone to moisture. Detents freeze up. Float won't work unless you hold lever, (or clean.. 20-min job)

Overall No regrets for price. I looked at them all. Massey, Simplicity, Deere, Mahindra, Zeta, New-holland, and more. Transports easity.

Strengths works like a champ, great power and useabilty. mine had over 250 hrs now and still running strong

Weaknesses flip around seat is a pain after it gets some wear, hard to latch

Overall great tractor great loader great backhoe. do yourself a favor and get a tooth bar for the bucket as soon as possib;e

Overall This is an update after a year of use. I decided to build a 24 x 36 garage and used the tractor to dig over 65 tons of dirt/clay. After the garage was done, I used the tractor to load the 65+ tons into a dump trailer and hauled it away with my PU. The only thing I noticed was a slight fluid leak where the FEL hoses connect. Dealer fixed that at the 50 hr service. I'm at the 100 hr service now. Great tractor.

Strengths Manueverable, quiet, BH and FEL can be removed in 2 min each. Power good for small machine.

Weaknesses Mower more difficult to remove and replace than should be. Takes 4 times as long as the BH and FEL combined! Old Case 580, 680 and JD 690 hoe operator- Hate the joysticks on the BH, particularly with the boom on left. May change hoses to get to SAE configuration. Needs pattern change selector similar to compact excavators.

Overall Ex-professional pipeline operator. Never used such a tiny machine before, but it's done great so far. Accomplished lots of work with little effort. Overall very nice little machine. Does everything at least as well as could be expected for a lightweight. Digs great. Mows well. Excellent fuel economy.

Strengths Excellent machine. Works better than I expected. FEL and Hoe both work great. Easy and comfortable to operate. The float feature on the FEL is a great item.

Weaknesses I broke the plastic cover on the seatbelt latch mechanism by spinning the seat around for the hoe in the first couple of hours I had it. Doesn't really matter though. Just looks a little funny.

Overall I would suggest a tooth bar for serious FEL digging. I added one and it works nicely. FEL and Hoe work well at low throttle settings. If you need more force you can bump it up. I almost bought a bigger model but I'm glad the dealer talked me out of it. I didn't need it.

Strengths I HAVE THE OLDER BX22 WHICH OTHER THAN COSMETICS I THINK IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME TRACTOR I HAVE 4.5 ACRES I HAVE used it to put electric service to my pole building ,put in underground drains, 2 large retaining walls added on to my house so i had to level and seed about 1/2 acre plus just normal stuff like cutting the grass, mulching, rough cutting about 2.5 acre field i could not ask for a better tractor the size is perfect,power is excellent

Weaknesses i personally cant find anything to fault

Overall i love it, you cant beat the price,you have a very strong tractor loader backhoe combination thats built from the ground up that way with the quality and reliability you expect from kubota
