Strengths Small size gets the job done in tight area. Great power for the size. BH works great (just as smooth as the big BHs on bigger tractor) 4wd works good plus the diff lock is a plus bar tires work great plus it doesnt hurt the turf like i thought it was going to. engine is quiet and smooth

Weaknesses dont want to get off the seat it is so comfortable.

Overall PPL underestimate this little machine. PPL that say the BH cant dig do not know how to properly operate the machine. ppl who say it needs more power need to learn how to operate the machine properly. PPL who say the BX23 is to expensive never priced out a steiner. the paint holds up fine. duh the paint scratchs and can chip last time I checked any metal painted can scratch and chip a little. this machine does not need a tach!! it is intended to be used in full speed using lower speeds can damage and shorthen the life of the machine.

Strengths ALL VERY STRONG MACHINE FOR THE SIZE. PERFECT LANDSCAPE TRACTOR.

Weaknesses WHEN TRYING TO USE MACHINE FOR MORE THAN IT IS RATED FOR.

Overall EXCELLENT MACHINE. OWN 2 OF THEM. VERY RELIABLE. PLENTY OF DIGGING POWER, SIZE IS A PLUS FOR RESIDENTIAL USES. GREAT MACHINE FOR THE THE MONEY.!!!

Strengths nice machine for small property owners. i have 9 acres, gets the job done. digs stumps, moves mountains of gravel and dirt. got it stuck in some deep muck in the old pond but the bh pulled it out when chained to a tree.

Weaknesses would be cumbersome to remove bh and fel for mowing purpose. decided to puchase new rider for the 2+ acres i mow. cheaper than a mmm anyway

Overall happy with my bx22

Strengths LOTS of power in a small package but still small & maneuverable enough for the homeowner/farmette. Designed with BH in mind means no worries about frame strength. Haven't found a stump yet I can't dig out if given enough time. Haven't been able to get it stuck yet despite deep snow & mud. Powerful enough to mow my overgrown pasture without ever stalling. 0% financing plus it was cheaper than my local JD and NH dealers for same options.

Weaknesses Maint cosmetic issues: Paint scratches, flakes, and faded far too soon for a tractor 1 year old. Seat foam came a little loose from back due to loose piping. SMV reflector holder on BH held on by a horse clamp; needless to say I don't hang the reflector on it. Us bx23 owners get no respect from the rest of the tractor world because nobody believes a little tractor can do so much. Anyone who says the bx23 can't do it never owned one! My dealer could've been more helpful & knowlegable after the sale, but that's not really Kubota's fault

Overall Very nice for smaller farms like mine (15 acres + horses). I'm hard on equipment and I haven't been able to break anything on it yet which remarkable.

Strengths I have had the tractor for 18 months. With a little twisting of the pressure releaf on the FEL it has been a great machine. No complanits

Strengths tractor has plenty of power when pulling a load 4x4 works good, even better when differential is locked front loader seems to work good

Weaknesses back hoe needs a more powerful pump if you do not use full throttle you can barely lift the bucket when its full of dirt forget about digging out a small diameter tree stump prolly take all day

Overall machine is way over priced and way over rated. im sure if some other owners would be honest they would give the same opinion... by the way emerichs is the best place to buy if you decide thats what you need or i would rent one first then decide thanks ..jim

Strengths Easy to configure. Like the Hydrostatic.

Weaknesses I am comparing to a L3300 I owned for 7 years. It was tough to downsize, but I moved and the big L3300 was useless for my current location. I have already used the backhoe to remove several stumps.

Overall The build quality is certainly not like it was on my 3300, but so far I have had no problems.

Strengths 2003 BX22 Machine comes standard equipped with front end loader and backhoe. Both are quick and easy to remove and re-install. This can be done with one person and no tools in a matter of minutes. 60" mower gives quality cut and is easy to install, remove and service. The BX22 has proven to be a very reliable and capable machine.

Weaknesses Mid mount mower can be difficult to get properly set up once installed (time consuming). If you want to run more than one additional work light, an upgraded alternator is recommended. For the price of the machine it should come with the bigger alternator.
