Purchased From : Zimmerer Kubota-Denton, TX.
Strengths Strong and tough. Reliable engine and hydraulics. Impressive performance for it's size.
Weaknesses Poorly engineered design on radiator pre-screening system (battery cover). Poor location, and clogs easily, causing under-performance, and over-heating.
Needs skid plates underneath place on at factory...not after-market.
Overall Highly recommended for small to medium sized properties.

Implements : FEL, 60 inch mower
Purchased From : Gene and Matts Tractors, Winder GA
Strengths Mows and runs great! FEL easy to take off and mount--same with mower. Dealer has been great!
Weaknesses Have cracked the deck twice on the left side. the dealer replaced with a supposedly improved rear assembly whick cracked again. Havent had a chanch to talk to the dealer yet, but don't anticipate problems with getting it fixed. However the way the deck is attached to the rear fender assembly is an extremely poor design and will fail again unless an improvement is made in the way it is attached to the deck!
Overall It runs great and except for the cracking of the rear fender assembly I love the tractor!

Implements : 4' box scraper, 5' landscape rake
Purchased From : Bingham Tractor, Tucson, Arizona
Strengths Plenty of power, very stable if you use your head and don't go crazy. Controls are very easy to use and in a comfortable position. It does every thing expected. Financed for 3 year, 0%. Orange, blue, green or yellow all have good tractors. You have to go where the dealership and service department will treat you well. Kubota will treat you very well, even if you don't spend 12 hrs a day in a half-million dollar combine.
Weaknesses The obvious that people say about all small tractors, the light are not positioned well, but how much do it yourself landscaping do you do at night. It is a small tractor, you will not build roads with this...unless you have a lot of time. It is for small jobs so understand that up front. The previous complaints that the left floorboard cracks has been fixed at the factory with a support.
Overall Excellent tractor for the home owner that needs a tractor for small/medium jobs around the house. Mine came with a 4' Land Pride box scraper for balance. It works great. I just bought a 5' landscape rake for the 3 point hitch from www.ironmanfabrication.net and that works very well to get the big rocks out of the yard.

Implements : 60" mmm 60" woods backblade
Purchased From : Smardt Equipment in Zelie, Pa
Strengths Very good priced tractor, lots of power. used for mowing 4 acre yard and a mowing business. large enough for big yards and small enough to fit in small spots Good lights. good 4wd
Weaknesses rear 3 pt. and mm pto should have seperate lower/ raising lever so you can have the mower on at the same time as the back blade when "pulling" snow with backblade, back end tends to kick out
Overall Very good tractor for the money

Implements : FEL, 60" belly mower
Purchased From : Old Hwy 6
Strengths Plenty of power.
Light enough that the turf tires don't tear up the lawn.
Weaknesses Too light for the FEL to cut thru compacted soil. Use a box blade or tiller to loosen before using the FEL.
Overall I am very happy with the tractor. Looked at a Kubota last spring and wish I had bought one then. Buy with confidence!!!

Implements : 60" belly mower, 5' bush hog, box blade, front end loaded
Purchased From : Springdale Tractor, Springdale AR
Strengths Will do most anything that I have attempted but, like the other posts mention it does take a little more time. Just realize that it's not a "BIG TRACTOR" and you'll be ok.
Weaknesses Operator platform broke on both side. Split from the floorboard up to the rear fender on both sides. I'm only 195lbs so I don't think it should've broke that easily. Dealer replaced it but didn't add any brackets to prevent this from happening again. We'll see how it goes. In the summer time is also tends to run hot and I have actually had to stop working to let it cool down.
Overall Overall I would recommend it as a light - medium duty tractor. As far as reputation and reliability it can't be beat. It just needs a few adjustments as far as what was mentioned above.

Price Paid : $13,500.00
Years of Use : Test Drive
Implements : FEL, 54" mowing deck, rototiller, ballast box, grille guard
Purchased From : Sirum Equipment
Strengths Extremely strong for it's size, excellent maneuverability, economical operation, comfortable seat and operators area, HST, power steering, ease of operation.
Weaknesses Can be tippy with full bucket loads. Smaller size means more time for a project.
Overall This is my first tractor. I am landscaping around the house, and building retaining walls. This tractor has done everything asked of it. I took the mower deck off the first day because I was moving soil and stone and digging for a wall and didn't want to keep bottoming out with the deck. It took just a few hours for the operation of this machine to become second nature. Yes, it is tippy when moving full loader loads, but with careful proper technique and practice it can be avoided. I also have a ballast box on the back with about 300 lbs. in it and that really helped. The dealer told me when I bought it that it would do everything the "big boys" can do, but it takes more time. He was absolutly right. But keep in mind, I am not running a business, I'm using it around my house and it is just plain fun to use, so why hurry? I have moved over 100 yds. of stone and dirt, backfilled around my new garage, tilled over my front yard, dug and backfilled 110' of retaining walls, and dragged pieces of old cement drivevay so heavy the loader could not lift them. I did my own 50 hr. service, fluids and filters ran me about $125. It runs all day long on 6 gallons of diesel fuel. My wife also is getting pretty good at using it...maybe when I put the mower back on in the spring I can con her into keeping up on the lawn??? I have no problems whatsoever and am glad I chose this Kubota. I know it is normal to want "bigger and better" but in all honesty I can say that in my case the BX2350 is just the right size for the job.

Price Paid : $13,000.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : Loader, 54" Fine Cut Mower
Purchased From : Frederick Equipment, MD
Strengths Motor and all mechanicals are impressive. Plenty of power, little tipsy with loaded bucket even with tire ballast (watch downhill slope with loaded bucket). 4WD kicks ass. This rig has saved my back by moving 15 tons of 2" river rock in half a day, retaining walls and even a 40' trench for electric. Buy the teeth for the bucket - about $300.
Weaknesses Operator platform. It has broken TWICE. Once on the left side...repaired with newer fender casting...and then, fractured and failed on the right side. Now, I weigh 350 lbs. but if there is a weight limit for the operator, I wish they would have told me before I took delivery. Fit and finish of hood and battery cover are poor - had to add a screw. Knobs are cheap - do not stay on. Fixed for a second time but the dealer decided not to paint the custom "fat guy" brackets welded under the floor pan. Dealer coming back Monday to pick up tractor and paint the brackets prescribed Kubota grey. We'll see how things look. Oh, cut quality suffers from tractor weight. Keep your RPMs up and mow late afternoon dry for best results.
Overall In this category, you cannot beat the function for the price with Kubota. I looked at the JD 2305 and it has very little room for the operator. Kubota was $2K less than the JD. Plenty of attachments available. First service costs $350. See if you can negotiate that into the purchase price. I would give the BX2350 a "10" but the broken platform is a serious aggravation. Good luck!
