Price Paid : $14,000.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : 60" belly mower, 5' bush hog, box blade, front end loaded
Purchased From : Springdale Tractor, Springdale AR
Strengths Will do most anything that I have attempted but, like the other posts mention it does take a little more time. Just realize that it's not a "BIG TRACTOR" and you'll be ok.
Weaknesses Operator platform broke on both side. Split from the floorboard up to the rear fender on both sides. I'm only 195lbs so I don't think it should've broke that easily. Dealer replaced it but didn't add any brackets to prevent this from happening again. We'll see how it goes. In the summer time is also tends to run hot and I have actually had to stop working to let it cool down.
Overall Overall I would recommend it as a light - medium duty tractor. As far as reputation and reliability it can't be beat. It just needs a few adjustments as far as what was mentioned above.

Price Paid : $13,500.00
Years of Use : Test Drive
Implements : FEL, 54" mowing deck, rototiller, ballast box, grille guard
Purchased From : Sirum Equipment
Strengths Extremely strong for it's size, excellent maneuverability, economical operation, comfortable seat and operators area, HST, power steering, ease of operation.
Weaknesses Can be tippy with full bucket loads. Smaller size means more time for a project.
Overall This is my first tractor. I am landscaping around the house, and building retaining walls. This tractor has done everything asked of it. I took the mower deck off the first day because I was moving soil and stone and digging for a wall and didn't want to keep bottoming out with the deck. It took just a few hours for the operation of this machine to become second nature. Yes, it is tippy when moving full loader loads, but with careful proper technique and practice it can be avoided. I also have a ballast box on the back with about 300 lbs. in it and that really helped. The dealer told me when I bought it that it would do everything the "big boys" can do, but it takes more time. He was absolutly right. But keep in mind, I am not running a business, I'm using it around my house and it is just plain fun to use, so why hurry? I have moved over 100 yds. of stone and dirt, backfilled around my new garage, tilled over my front yard, dug and backfilled 110' of retaining walls, and dragged pieces of old cement drivevay so heavy the loader could not lift them. I did my own 50 hr. service, fluids and filters ran me about $125. It runs all day long on 6 gallons of diesel fuel. My wife also is getting pretty good at using it...maybe when I put the mower back on in the spring I can con her into keeping up on the lawn??? I have no problems whatsoever and am glad I chose this Kubota. I know it is normal to want "bigger and better" but in all honesty I can say that in my case the BX2350 is just the right size for the job.

Price Paid : $13,000.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : Loader, 54" Fine Cut Mower
Purchased From : Frederick Equipment, MD
Strengths Motor and all mechanicals are impressive. Plenty of power, little tipsy with loaded bucket even with tire ballast (watch downhill slope with loaded bucket). 4WD kicks ass. This rig has saved my back by moving 15 tons of 2" river rock in half a day, retaining walls and even a 40' trench for electric. Buy the teeth for the bucket - about $300.
Weaknesses Operator platform. It has broken TWICE. Once on the left side...repaired with newer fender casting...and then, fractured and failed on the right side. Now, I weigh 350 lbs. but if there is a weight limit for the operator, I wish they would have told me before I took delivery. Fit and finish of hood and battery cover are poor - had to add a screw. Knobs are cheap - do not stay on. Fixed for a second time but the dealer decided not to paint the custom "fat guy" brackets welded under the floor pan. Dealer coming back Monday to pick up tractor and paint the brackets prescribed Kubota grey. We'll see how things look. Oh, cut quality suffers from tractor weight. Keep your RPMs up and mow late afternoon dry for best results.
Overall In this category, you cannot beat the function for the price with Kubota. I looked at the JD 2305 and it has very little room for the operator. Kubota was $2K less than the JD. Plenty of attachments available. First service costs $350. See if you can negotiate that into the purchase price. I would give the BX2350 a "10" but the broken platform is a serious aggravation. Good luck!

Implements : Loader, 60" Deck, 60" York rake
Purchased From : Local Dealer
Strengths The power and ease of use. The loader is powerful. The 4 wheel drive is unreal. I can take this tractor more places than my quad.
Weaknesses The more weight in the bucket, the more tippy the machine gets. I only use my loader with the york rake in the back and that does the trick.
Overall The best sub compact tractor you can buy for the money. Bye, Bye, John Deer.

Price Paid : $16,800.00
Years of Use : Test Drive
Implements : loader/backhoe
Purchased From : Tri State rentals
Strengths Took BX2350 for a test run...felt pretty good, and all I read here seems good as well. Does anyone have the backhoe attachment? From what the dealer told me, the 2350 with the hoe is basically the same as the BX24, anyone know for sure? I know the specs show the BX24 as a bit higher as well. Also, any news on the cracked floor board issue? How about grill guard, anyone have one? I'm looking for info, hopefully before I buy it..Thanks
Weaknesses Concerned about the size...but from what everyone says, It's not an issue.
Overall Seems good.

Price Paid : $12,200.00
Years of Use : Test Drive
Implements : FEL, 60" MMM
Purchased From : Springdale Tractor
Strengths Plenty of power... Spins all 4 (r4) tires with ease when stripping sod or digging with the loader. I've done more work in a day than I could have done with a wheel barrel in 30... Obviously.. Can't wait to tackle the next job around the house....
Weaknesses Tipsy when full bucket on uneven ground. Needs some type of ballast.
Lights suck with FEL, but that's obvious, added some magnetics to the ROPS and it does great.
Batter cover was cracked at delivery, but dealer sent me an updated replacement and it fits like a glove.
Overall I LOVE THIS MACHINE....
Looked at the TZ's and the Deeres, bought the Bota... No Regrets!!

Price Paid : $13,500.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : MM 54" and FEL
Purchased From : Zimmerer Kubota
Strengths Working in tighter spaces, maneuvering. Good worker for a lighter weight tractor. I can use my 3pt chipper without missing a beat. The FEL is super easy to remove and put back on, that makes it great for mowing in tighter areas around the house.
Weaknesses Operator presence control was too sensitive. Had to adjust it to keep the tractor running when I got off - with the tractor in neutral and parking brake on.
I would prefer that the midmount and the rear PTO be independently usable - if you lower one, you are lowering both, so any implement on the rear is lowered while mowing.
Overall Overall, I am very pleased with the tractor. I also have a M5400. I now use the little BX2350 to do things I would have done with the bigger tractor, and find I can do them quicker with the smaller guy.

Price Paid : $13,500.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : Roto-tiller, post auger, FEL
Purchased From : Rickreall Farm Supply
Strengths Only 44" wide with turf tires makes it easy to get through gates. FEL bucket is perfect size. I like the reverse exhaust. I roto-tilled about 1/4 acre yesterday with little effort. There's a reason why August is not "National Post Hole Month"... I had to wet these down overnight, but then they went fine.
Weaknesses Very minor. Brake pedal is too close to forward HST. When I go to set the brake hard, I hit the forward HST. Needs a toolbox or bin to store stuff...my cup holder overfloweth. Hydraulic levers should each have a distinctive feel so that they can be operated without looking. I kind of wanted a trenching attachment, but having a hard time finding one.
Overall This is certainly powerful enough to do anything that I need to do. I got my old lady to let me have this tractor based on saving my back... I now know that I am still going to break my back -- I'll just get more work done while doing it :-)
