Strengths Very easy to use and powerful for such a small tractor. Hardly uses any fuel and can run a whole weekend on a couple gallons. Loader and Hoe each are amazing with what can be done with them, again very good machine.
Weaknesses Very tippy as I have almost rolled mine 3 or 4 times already. Don'b believe the deals do their job that well as mine was low on front axle lube and had to add some. Back-hoe stablizer pads seem very small for the forces they see, constantly dig down into the dirt and loose holding ability. They need something larger.
Overall Very good solid machine! Start and runs like a champ and very powerful for digging with both the FEL and Hoe. I would buy this machine again in a heartbeat! Kubota is a true Engineering company!

Strengths I I read about tractors for months. Kubota stood out with quality, price, innovation and good financing and this subcompact looked right. (The MF 2310 is great I’m sure also.) I have been very happy with it, a gem! It is very well built, easy to use and powerful. It is better then I had hoped, I have had a couple of machine operator friends try and it and all loved it. Had a party and the girls really liked it, I was amazed. Im sure is will dig my ditches, haul firewood, logs, rocks and much more for years to come, I really like it, it is a deal in today’s cost of everything. The dealer has been great also. I got all manuals, parts, shop and owners. I even thought the Kubota insurance was worth it, while a sum over the months, 12.00. It covers everything for 42 months and I never buy insurance. If you had to sell it, it would sell quickly and for a fair price, I don’t see much downside with this machine. It appears easy to get to things on it and maintained should be fun. About 15 hours or better of use on 4 gals. of fuel. It is tuff, solid, easy to use, sounds great overall runs well. I can’t stop smiling.
Weaknesses None

Strengths What a powerhorse! I was looking for a small tractor with BH and FEL for my 8.5 acre property. Test drove quite a few and found the BX 24 to have all the power I could ever want. Operation of this little gem is simple and so easy, friends without tractor experience pick it up after a few minutes of playing with it.
Weaknesses People have complained about the seat and the plastic on the unit. I'm a big guy, 240 pounds, and don't have any issues with the seat. It's comfortable and there is plently of legroom. My only criticism is that it is kind of cumbersome to switch the seat from FEL use to BH use. That said, its a subcompact tractor and Kubota did a great job of engineering it to work.
Overall What a fantastic value. For $17 large you get a powerful tractor that looks great, runs like a champ and has a FEL and BH to do any chores you could ask of them. I've moved HUGE rocks, dug holes, moved topsoil, manure and mulch. One of the best things about this tractor is how limber is it. It can get into tight areas and turns on a dime. I would definitely puchase this tractor again.

Strengths Lets start out by saying the dealer was excellent to work with.
As for the BX 24.it is a superior compact tractor/backhoe. At first I was not sure of its power because I was use to running skid steer loaders the last one I owned was a Bobcat 763 G series and I would bull my way through almost anything. With that said it took me a few hours to settle in with a smaller unit. I am very impressed with what I can actually accomplish with this machine. The backhoe has all the power it needs for its size and detaches in just minutes. The loader also detaches in minutes. The ease of operation is also a big plus.
Weaknesses Too much plastic, can not leave the quick hitch on when wanting to use the loader, this somewhat defeats the time savings engineered in this unit. Could use higher mounted head lites as well as lites for running the backhoe after dark, this is something I well be adding in the near future.
Overall A great machine for what it is designed and for the money, I would strongly recommend the BX24 to anyone looking for a compact loader/backhoe. I demoed JD, Massey and Montana units before settling on the Kubota BX24 and if you are looking for this type of unit let me save you some time and go to your local kubota dealer.

Strengths Small and light enough to get into tight spaces. Great machine for small jobs.
Weaknesses Too small to handle larger, time saving implements. Not enough power to handle more than a few acres, not enough torque for large jobs.
Overall Great tractor for a few acres or less and small jobs, DO NOT BUY the BX24 if you need more than that.

Strengths This is one tough tractor. I have pulled out stumps I have mowing around or over for years. Rock outcroppings and just buried rocks are dissappearing. My mowing time (for 8 acres) has been cut by at least an hour. Rough terrain is getting opened up.
Weaknesses For mowing, this is the one for the big yards. With the RPS bar up or down this is not the get in close mower. I'm glad I kept my Kubota TG1860.
Also the hydrualic lines need to be tightened upon delivery; particularly on the BH. The U-joint on the mower deck drive shaft is hard to grease.
Overall The Wow factor is WOWEE, WOW-WOW. I have never regretted buying any of my tractors and I can't start with this one. It does everything I want it to and more. The loader, the backhoe, and the mower in this package are just so impressive, I could go on and on.
Stumps GONE. Big rocks GONE. Honeysuckle vines, multifloral roses, hawthornes, grapevines, dissappearing. My friends say my twenty acres is starting to look like a park. My wife, MY WIFE loves this machine and looks around for things for it to do. She was at first intimidated by it and put on her heels that I bought it. Now, she operates it herself backhoe, loader and all.(She has plans.)
It does however, let you know quickly that it has limits. Especially since we operate it on hilly terrain. It keeps you humble, but it is definitely not made to dissappoint.
The BX24 package is well worth the price. I look forward to a long relationship happy with this tractor.
