Price Paid : $16,000.00
Years of Use : 1-2 Years Use
Implements : Front Loader and Back hoe
Purchased From : Cheyenne Kubota
Strengths I find the tractor easy to use and real work horse around my 3 acres. It turns nice and is almost maintenance free. The quality level is good. The tractor has plenty of power even at an altitude of 5,550 ft above sea level.
Weaknesses I would agree with reviews that it has a little too much plastic on it; however, that has not caused me any issues. I have only taken the back hoe off once, it was a painful experience, not sure it is the design or operator (me). Also, be aware that this subcompact can't handle the implements of a lot of slight larger tactors. I found I can get a few on, however, the manufacturer recommends using Kubota only implements for the BX24.
Overall A great tractor for the money. I believe it is a great price performer and look to get many years of service out it. Also, I believe the resale will be there. I'm looking forward to adding some implements.

Implements : tiller, mower deck
Purchased From : davis equipment
Strengths plenty of power, easy to operate,
Weaknesses the plastic cracked and a large piece of the fender broke off. The platform is not very sturdy .Hydraulic fluid leaks at most of the connectors. The lens came loose from the gauge cluster.
Overall works great and far exceeded my expectations. I was really upset about the fender but overall this is an awesome machine. No other manufacturer even comes close for the money.

Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : BH, FEL, 60 in mmm,toothbar
Purchased From : R.D.Thompson
Strengths low center of gravity, very easy to use controls
Weaknesses f,e,l blocks lights, you have to gas it up to move f,e,l or b,h, you cannot do this at idle speed, seat is a pain in the butt to move from forward, to revese seating for bh operation, if you are going in reverse and you step of the pedal machine stops very suddenly, it will pop a wheely, becareful if you are moving anything delicate in the f,e,l if it is something lite if will shift, the stop is very abrupt,
Overall i bought this machine, for the taking care of rental properties, and building garage apartments, there is no doubt in my mind that i will be able to do what i bought it for, your not going to dig out a 30'x60' basement with it, but if you want to whip out a footer and spread gravel for a slab this baby is the ticket, then you can mow your grass when all that is done. and not break the bank!

Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : FEL, BH, MMM
Purchased From : McCoy's, New Paris, PA
Strengths Ease of removal and installation of all of the impelements. Installation BH = 2min, FEL< 1min, MMM = 2min I can have it stripped down to a bare tractor in less than 10min. Just let the tractor do the work, and let the RPM's at about 2K for slower more precise movements to allow the pins to "unload". Cut my mowing time from 6hrs down to about 2. Almost the manuverability of a zero-turn with 4wd for the tough terrain. Very stable when traversing hills (like a bulldozer), mows high wet grass as fast as the tractor will go, with a 5'-6' roostertail of grass coming out of the MMM. My wife told me I look like the high speed "benny hill" clips when I'm mowing on the flat at the bottom of the property. The BH pops 12" stumps out of the ground without complaint. You can tell it's a small tractor when operating it, but it will do the same work as the bigger tractors, it may just take a bit longer with some finesse. The size is perfect for fitting under my apple trees (with the ROPS folded) when mowing. Hydrostatic Transmission, I can't believe they still make gear tractors.... The size doesn't intimidate new users (like my wife). She was moving shingles in the FEL traversing sloped ground without getting all "freaked out".... a tetament to it's ease of use and stability.
Weaknesses The seat latch is cumbersome to use when switching from FEL to BH. Needs rollbar and/or rear lights for dusk/night work. The headlights are OK for moving around, but are easily covered by the FEL when working.
Overall Great tractor that makes all of the maintenance required for my 10acres (3mowed with the remainder wooded) almost fun. Now my time isn't spent on the tractor because I "have to". Awesome tractor, and great service/info from my dealer. They took the time to answer all of my questions and to work with me to get a great deal.
I'd reaserched these subcompact/compact tractors for almost 5years (JD, Kioti, MF, Cub, Agri, even Greys), and even with new model releases, Kubota always came out on top. They're not cheap, but they're a great value.

Price Paid : $16,500.00
Years of Use : New Owner (0-1 Year)
Implements : BH, FEL, 60" MMM, and a "Tractor Pal"
Purchased From : Gateway Tractor (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Strengths Takes up very little space in the garage! BH & FEL are easily removed/installed. Very quiet and fuel-efficient 3cyl diesel!
This machine handles every task I have thrown at it, and has been fun as well.
Weaknesses Just a few "opportunities for improvement":
1. Fuel filler should be on the side to minimize spillage.
2. Knobs on handles should be glued on as they tend to fall off/come loose.
3. Brush guard should be wider so headlights are not blocked.
4. Grease fittings on MMM wheels pull out when greasing - metal fittings should never be screwed into plastic :(
5. The plastic engine hood has a tendency to "rattle" at under 1800rpm, so latches on the sides would probably be a big improvement.
6. The range selector is frequently hard to move out of neutral and the fwd/backward pedal must be tapped to allow free movement of the selector...this should be simple for an engineer to develop a "fix".
Overall With the few improvements above, this would be a "perfect machine" for the small estate owner (I have 50 acres - 35 wooded, 10 hay field and 5 mowable with trees.)
The dealer has been TERRIFIC for advice and support and, with 0%/36mo financing itw as an easy decision to buy this instead of the John Deere 2305 I was looking at!

Strengths easy to opperate
Weaknesses wants to load up & die cannot work all day without having problems will load up & drop rpm,s to idle & then rev back up to opperating speed i was mowing yesterday & itloaded up at least 15 times & died 6 times when i was roading it back to the barn, dealer says cant find anything wrong with it. i am using a 42" rotary mower so its not the mower causing the problem.especialy when it dies roading it with at least 1/2 tank of fuel.

Price Paid : $15,000.00
Years of Use : 1-2 Years Use
Implements : backhoe
Purchased From : kubota dealer
Strengths the two handle operation of bh and speed of the machine
Weaknesses less than one month after getting this machine we lost the transmission in wich the dealer said that kubota had never seen it happen before and wanted the part back to find out what had happened and by the way it took over a month for them to get the part from japan and repair it the front bucket is way under powered the brake is awkward to use the forward and reverse peddles should be closer together or on a rocker like the terrimites are the boom on the backhoe should at least be 2 feet longer you should be able to spin the seat around with out getting off the machine for better positioning of machine without stopping for too long
Overall I have beeen running mini backhoes for a good part of 22 years this machine is nothing but a glorified lawn mower with an backhoe attachment and i wished my boss asked my opinon before he bought this thing since i am the one who uses it in my opinion it would be a good little machine if you just use it around your garden but if you want to use it for what i use it for dont buy one if you want to know i run a cemetery and use it to dig graves and taking out shrubs and such

Purchased From : Upstate NY
Strengths Controls are easy to learn and use. A lot of power on a small machine. Easy removal of FEL & BH.
Weaknesses No cab options. Headlights obstructed by FEL.
Overall Within 4 hours of purchasing the machine the HST went. The dealer and Kubota were great I had a new machine delivered within 5 days of the original. The dealer advised it was a defect and states they have never seen this before. No problems at all with the new machine. The first time I removed the BH it took close to 2 hours to remove the quick connect pins. The pins were frozen , however a little wd40 and now it takes me about 3 minutes now. The BH digs well and my property is almost all rock and clay.
