Strengths Good cutting mower. Handles easily

Weaknesses We have two of the GF1800 mowers that we use in our park and both mowers have had PTO problems. Very expensive ($1000) to repair

Overall Good mower with exception of the PTO's. We will not buy another mower from Kabota because of the weakness in their PTO's (Sprag Bearing Failure). Be prepared to do expensive PTO repairs if you buy want of these mowers.

Strengths Reliability, handling, ease of maintenance, quality of cut.

Weaknesses Deck cracked where the gearbox mounts. I welded the deck and added a support from gearbox to crossbrace which stopped vibration and thus solved the deck cracking problem.

Overall I have used this mower for 6 years mowing my 3 acre lawn. Only work other than deck work described above has been regular oil and transmission oil changes and grease.

Strengths strong motor.excellent compact size,diff lock great on slippery slopes.very manouverable. hydralic deck lift.please note price in new zealand dollars and model is sold here as F1900.

Weaknesses NONE except for a part in the trans/pto called a sprag bearing. this failed at 600hrs and again at 1900hrs it is a weakness as confirmed by kubota agent.can be expensive to repair.

Overall great mower,really solid,would buy another if they could improve the fault with sprag bearing.
