Strengths 4WD great,

Weaknesses the transmission was build with bushing instead of bearing, major problem need to be recall . Use premium gas, gas with alcohol will cause backfiring and you will need to add a stabalizer to the gas.

Overall The new baring transmission kit will cost $1300. Kubota needs to admit the GR2000 is the only model with this problem that I know of. Because of this issue I will probably return to a John Deere.

Strengths Terrific quality compared to any other tractor I have used. Turning radius very sharp - allows clean / controlled cut around many trees in my yard. Mower - excellent even cut even when mowing too fast for rough lawn. Hydrostatic and hydraulic lift make it very easy to use.

Weaknesses Sometimes backfires when shutting off immediately after heavy work in hot conditions

Overall Terrific - would do all over again!

Strengths With AWD and Glidesteer these tractors are in a class of their own,and thousands cheaper than competitive models.

Weaknesses Plastic hood-don't pull it backwards down the road without tying it down first!Weak seat mount-newer models much improved.I modded the mount on mine and changed out the standard seat w/the B series cushy seat w/armrest kit-nice.Deck removal somewhat of a pain as they weigh nearly 200lbs-very heavy duty.

Overall A great little tractor that's a blast to use.I beefed up the rear frame on mine and added an electric sleeve hitch w/box blade and a double shank chisel digger for ripping up potholes in the driveway and dirt work.Amazed how well it works,but am careful to not overheat the hydro as it's not really designed to do this type of work.

Strengths Real Frame 4WD Power Steering Quite and better motor compared to my old Bolens ST-140

Overall Very nice small tractor for my swampy back yard! Year 05 or 06 dealer didn't tell me, engine built in 05 170 hours on machine Very good overall condition

Strengths Climbs hilly terrain with ease. Tight steeering turn radius. Wide wheelbase makes for easy cross section of hilly area. Well made and has great add-on's.

Weaknesses Runs a little rich which will foul plugs but adjustment will cure somewhat the problem.

Overall Overall this is a great AWD lawn tractor for the money as compared to JD and CC.

Strengths Very heavy duty construction. Tight turn radius, power steering, easy handling, good stability, incredible traction. 0% percent factory financing is a plus, you have to love "free" money.

Weaknesses Poor fuel economy, a little loud, sometimes backfires on shutdown.

Overall Very nice tractor. I have a very hilly yard, and this Kubota climbs like a mountain goat. No major problems so far and the few small issues were dealt with very quickly and professionally by the dealer. This thing is built like a tank, I’m sure it will last me 20+ years.

Strengths easy to start, excellent turning, comfortable seat, plenty of power, fair grass cutting, excellent awd traction

Weaknesses backfires when shutting off, high center of gravity makes sidehill mowing unstable, slow reverse speed, awkward foot control placement, cheap gas filler cap, plastic hood and fenders, low ground clearance, no cab available for winter use.

Overall the awd, power steering and hydraulic lift really make this a must have tractor.

Strengths 4WD system is amazing. Tractor seems very durable and well constructed.

Weaknesses The seat could be back further, the relation to the steering wheel feels kinda funny.

Overall I love my new GR! Its the best mowing tractor I've ever used. The quality of cut is great, this is the same deck off the ZG series. Hydraulic lift and hydraulic PTO are not usually sold on other machines at this price. I found it a great value. I do kinda wish i would have spent the money for the diesel. As was mentioned, the fuel consumption does seem a bit high and I hear the disels are much better in that reguard.

Strengths Easy disconnects, drive shaft, easy steering, turns in a tight radius, nice looking, heavy duty.

Weaknesses Very poor manuals, poor gas mileage,grass blower gets clogged easy,springs fall off easily,grass shoot is a poor design(clogs and breaks easily,not enough power,hard to put shaft on, many more things, but too many to list.

Overall Sorry I bought it as I thought I was buying quality.
