Strengths
Weaknesses rear differnal housing will crack from stress of backhoe..they say it has to have a subframe,,no one told me of a subframe, to it was to late..called kubota customer service,, wha a joke,,quality service went out the door,,they do not care,,bushhog people were nice,, but no help they do not care,,beshears will they were very nice,,give me a good price to fix it,,but the hold thing,,iam going to have to fix something that is not of my doing,, if beshears would i told me about a subframe,,i would have had it there, and not have to face this,,so watch out if you are buying a kubota with a bushhog brand backhoe,,make sure you get the subframe,,,o yes kubota told me that was normal wear,,if that is so the tractor is not very dependable is it, just to last 4 years,,,no i think not,that is not normal wear,, that is a weak place in tractor,i think kubota, bushhog, behsears should help in this ,,to make right,,for i knew nothing of a subframe,,till now...

Strengths
Weaknesses the rear differenal,will crack,, from use of bush hog backhoe,there is a subframe to use,, but no one told me of it, till it was to late,,so watch out,,and kubota will not help or will bush hog or will the place you purchased it from will help..do not depend on kubota customer service,,they do not give good quality sevice,,,,that seams to have went out the door,,huo yes kubota says that is normal wear for a rear ,, had the trator for 4 years..if that is normal wear,, then you need to watch for sure,,

Strengths
Weaknesses don't even think of using a 3-pt ho or brush hog without a rear reinforcement bracket. I tore a large piece out of the rear housing when going through a large pot hole and the ho bounced $5,600.00 in repairs, Also the shift boot is a bad design. I have put on 3 in 4 years.
Overall I love the tractor, but Kubota should step up to the plate and make this right.

Strengths I bought my L2800 with ag tires and gear transmission. These two features are key for delivering maximum power and torque. I use my tractor to operate a small produce farm. It pulls a 2 bottom plow, 6' disk, 5" bush hog, and 2 row corn planter with power to spare. It is rugged, easy to operate and delivers outstanding fuel economy under heavy engine load. Have had ZERO mechanical problems with the tractor. I blead green (JD) and thjis is the only color tractor I would own other that a JD.
Weaknesses Only weaknesses I have found is weight, no live PTO, and no tool box.
Overall This tractor is built to farm with. As long is it is operated within it's limits and carefully maintained it will give years of dependable service. It reminds me of an 8N on steroids!

Strengths Very powerful for its size, power steering and 4wd is an awesome feature. Just smooth running no hickups what so ever.
Weaknesses tractor weight a little lite.
Overall Super fun to operate, upgraded from a Ford Jubilee, just hope it lasted as long as my Jubilee.

Strengths Works great until it breaks
Weaknesses The weight of the backhoe caused the rear differential case to break. We went to the dealer and found out this isn't an isolated case. Dealer said that he's asked Kubota in the past and they have refused to help with the cost of fixing it.
Sounds like a design flaw to me. Seems like the backhoe should be attached to something sturdy like the frame, not the casing (especially given that the casing is only 3/8-inch thick).
Overall A great tractor until it breaks. Didn't even last to 200 hours!

Strengths Strong on power yet easy on the fuel. Right size for the job.
Weaknesses I have concerns on the rollover protection system (ROPS). The corner of the ROPS contacted a pole guide wire with very little force. The damage was the back side of the final drive housing being ripped out. It was repaired under warranty but I am concerned should it ever roll over. Not sure the ROPS will hold up.
Overall Very pleased with the total package!

Strengths strong tractor, strong loader, great 4x4 capabilities, feels very safe even on steep hills, starts great everytime (no matter how cold/hot)

Strengths I love this piece of equipment. Have small farm in northern Montana. dug 300 ft waterlines, move manure, remove snow tilled in a huge garden. prep for concrete pad. move lumber, fencing etc... this thing allows me to get myself into way too much work. It has expanded my building possibilities and made otherwise impossible project very possible and easy. HST THE ONLY WAY TO GO ... 100+ hrs
Weaknesses parking brake flasher or something. I have left it on for awhile until I notice the HST whining, Then I kick myself... I didn't mean to hurt my baby Ha!
Overall Tuff reliable starts in zero weather. 110% SATISFIED
