Strengths aaa
Weaknesses seems the l3130 could have the fuel petal made from something other then plasic.Breaks every winter. Also I think [living on rough terrain in Maine]there should be a skid plate underneath.Thats where alot of the components are,and if you get stuck or traveling in a rough spot, leaves the chance of damage underneath.I would emagine in a corn field in,say Kansas, it wouldn't be a concern.
Overall This tractor always starts, and runs great.

Strengths This could be a long list here. I echo all of the other posts here on the strengths. I was always a Massey guy until now. As long as Kubota continues to produce quality products such as this one, I don't ever plan on buying anything else!
Weaknesses No major one's. The fuel pump had a malfunction about 6 months after purchase, but as soon as I notified the Service department at Wright's, it was fixed within 2 days (Kubota's service is excellent...they really take care of their customers). It wasn't really a weakness, just a minor malfunction. I can't say anything bad about this tractor.
Overall I grew up using a Massey 135 and 165 tractor. Was not sure about a Kubota at first (because of my own ignorance). Pricing was excellent as was the service. Very easy to use (my mom found out how easy it was to use and now she spends almost as much time as I do on it!)

Price Paid : $26,000.00

Implements : LA723 loader, boxscraper, finishmower
Purchased From : gold country kubota
Strengths this is a great tractor. it always has enough horsepower to get the job done. i have cut out a round pen out of a hills side going through big rocks and the tractor did perfact. also used it to cut a horse arean out of a hill too. use it to mow big pastures at no time at all. it has dug countless postholes and moved yards of dirt, rock, and bark.
Weaknesses the only thing that i can think of is that the loader gets in the way of the head lights so i just put lights on the rops.
Overall this is a great tractor, i had a kubota B7100 before and it compares nothing to the L3130

Price Paid : $19,000.00
Years of Use : Test Drive
Implements : 7 series loader, brush cutter, post hole digger
Purchased From : MB Tractor
Strengths Great machine for size and power. For the work I do, mostly field mowing snow removal, the HST is the way to go. I really do not notice that much drop in avail. horse power. I did realize that it was the smallest engine in the midseries tractor (L-series), but I love the bigger frame then the compact tractor, just so much more pleasureable to drive. Independent PTO is a huge plus. Also cruise control is a excellent for field mowing.
Weaknesses Wish I had gotten the quick connect bucket for the front end. Dash is OK, would rather have old school guages.
Overall Great fuel economy, easy to service, do it all myself. Have over 600 hours and no problems to speak of.

Implements : LA723 Loader, Skid Steer Bucket, Curtis Soft Cab, R4 tires
Purchased From : Hyde Park Equipment Ltd
Strengths Powerful for its size, yet easy to maneuver into tight spots. This tractor has big tire tracks to fill, after I traded in my old Ford 1900. I've only had it for a week or so, but the L3130 does everything well. Gear drive / shuttle is easy to use. Independent PTO is handy. Quick connect (skid steer) bucket is very simple and fast - I doubt I'll ever have to take the whole loader off (which looks more complicated). It is easy to get at all the dipsticks and maintenance points. Air filter gauge is a great idea. You don't have to take the whole tractor apart to get at the radiator pre-screen (unlike Deere, and smaller Kubota's) Much smaller physically than the New Holland. The display is clear and easy to read (although it is a bit too fancy for a farm tractor - more like a car!)
I did have to change the length of my manure spreader PTO shaft (something I had not thought of before). Curtis cab fits well, and has good workmanship - highly recommended for nasty winter snowblowing. Doors come off, front window opens out, and back window velcro's out for summer heat.
Weaknesses None yet. Probably too easy to drive, so my wife may spend too much time with my new toy!
Overall Very high marks for this machine. Looking forward to years and years of fun on the farm with my new Kubota!

Years of Use : 2+ Years
Implements : LA723 loader, Mowers (2), Hyd. Box Scraper, Post hole driller, Disc, Rototiller, Top & Tilt
Purchased From : Green valley Tractor
Strengths This machine is tough. You just can't kill it. I have 1500+ hours of hard usage on it and have only had it in the shop once in 4+ years. And that was for a minor leak on the front axle. (I don't like leaks) This beast has excelent power. I recommend the GST tranny. I work all day every day in the fields and the HST is too hard on the leg with all the for and aft moements. No loss of HP either.
Weaknesses Just wish I had bought the 50 HP. Love the L3130 but just like MORE POWER.
Overall Best tractor ever built. You just can't go wrong.

Strengths Ease of use, reliability, quality, engineering and strength, good power, versatility, low fuel usage, ease of maintenance, comfort, dealer network
Weaknesses Minor and few. Lights could be more useful, not crazy about the Intellipanel, but it works.
Overall I wish I got rid of my old tractor sooner. This machine does everything I have asked of it. It outspecs everything in the 30 hp range, but I have never reached my hp limit. With the heavier frame I have no worries about hurting anything, but it is engineered to be light enough that I don't need a 3/4 ton PU to tow it around. I looked at red, blue green and a number of orange, but I don't think I could have made a better choice.

Strengths Really Like the ease of use all around, this is the first tractor that I have owned with Hydrostatic transmission. Extremly easy to use,I love it.
Weaknesses Once in a while if I am plowing a large amount of snow, more horse power would be nice. Overall no real weakness and I would buy one again in a minute.
Overall A+++ as a retired teacher I really can say this is an A+ machine.

Strengths This tractor does it all. I have yet to put in a situation where it hasn't come through for me. The 3 point lift capacity is 2650 lbs which I put to good use pulling rocks out of my yard with a plow. Just remember to be careful I folded the plow up like an accordian while pulling rocks. This tractor is great.
Weaknesses The rubber boots on the front axle for the 4-wheel drive are not as protected as I would like them to be.
Overall Overall I don't believe you can find a better tractor out there in this horsepower range. Remember if you buy orange, you never get a lemon.
