Strengths This tractor is the perfect size, because it has enough weight to get traction when really needed, yet light enough that it does not leave imprints when cutting a damp yard, it has easy ingress/egress, has great power and torque, good lighting, well located controls and guages, guages also provide great information instantly such as ground speed, pto speed, etc., good turn radius in 4WD, but even better when not in 4WD, good visibility to the rear of the back tires where young children could get out of operator's sight giving a higher level of safety, very efficient on diesel fuel, R4 tires are virtually puncture proof and give good bite when needed, but do not imprint yard when damp, responsive hydraulics (even to the smallest of inputs), very reliable as I have had no issues since buying 3+ years ago, and last but not least, it's painted '69 Camaro hugger orange!!!

Weaknesses I have had no problems with this tractor and I've owned over 3 years, however, the 72" mid mount mower deck has broken 2 springs on the rear height adjuster. Instead of putting a 3rd spring on, I simply set the height I wanted and zip tied it. Another weakness with the mid mower is how difficult it is to put on and take off the tractor. This is a major pain!!! To rectify this issue, I bought a Kubota ZD331 zero turn yesterday!!!

Overall Highly recommend this tractor for someone with 5 acres of grass to maintain. I use it with the following implements: removable loader/bucket, 72" mid mount mower, 60" box blade, 60" regular blade, 40 gallon 3-point mounted sprayer with 10-foot boom, and a pto driven broadcast spreader with a 500 lbs hopper. This tractor will move dirt, sand, rock, snow, perform tilling, discing, and mowing with ease.

Strengths Big enough to runs 6' brush hog with ease. 514 loader does a great job. Auto throttle is great so you don't have to hear the engine screaming when you stop. easy to clean and do maint.

Weaknesses have not found any yet

Overall Test drove every tractor out there. Kubota was hands down the best. What I found is the same tractor in a deere was 1500.00 more

Strengths I bought my grand L 3130 GST transmision in the fall of 2003. I have nothing but good to say about it. Comfort and large deck make it a winner and the servicing of the tractor is easy. I use a 6 foot finishing mower and rake hay with a broom rake in hay season plus box blading and bush hogging. It is a fine tractor.

Weaknesses I really can't complain about this tractor at all.I now have about 400 hours on it.

Overall If I had it all to do over again I would do it with Kubota

Strengths Many great features, i.e., auto throttle, HST plus, hydraulic lock for front end implements. Very roomy compared to other brands and better loader hydraulics than others I tried. I am very pleased with it, it is built heavy. The six ranges on the HST is very handy leaving me plenty of pulling power for logs.

Weaknesses Seems a little tippy for the hill country I live in. Maybe industrial style tires would be better than the Agriculture tires I have.

Overall Great tractor. I researched for two years before buying. None of the other brands really came close and the price was very competitive also. This tractor seems almost too big to be considered a compact but the horsepower is there for the work I do with logging and moving dirt and compost piles. I put on about 100 hours per year on my 13 acres.

Strengths 200 hours and everything works like new. starts good in cold weather easy to operate

Overall very good tractor. front bucket can lift a 200 boardfoot green hemlock log( log was 19 feet long. took my bucket off and made my own forks for loader) to put log on portable sawmill about 3.5 feet off of ground. also has woods backhoe bx80 the price i paid is with backhoe front loader with 2 buckets and tires loaded

Strengths Easy to operate, durable (340 hours and no problems), HST very smooth, seems to be very fuel efficient. LA514 and BH90 both work well. Excellent all-around machine for horse farm. Have cleared 3 acres with it, just keeps chugging along without complaint.

Weaknesses Cold starting is sometimes hard. If I lived in a colder climate I would definitely want the engine block heater option.

Overall Excellent machine. Big enough for anything I need to do on a 14 acre horse farm.

Strengths I've owned my L3240 for 1 year. Have 38 hours on it. Use around house, maintain gravel drive and general use. Love it. Finally got my wife on it and now she wants to drive it all the time while I do the heavy ground work! Sips fuel, quiet, easy handling, comfortable seat and excellent hydraulics. I looked at the green & yellow models, but I would have had to buy a bigger model to compare with the features of the L3240 big orange. You just can't go wrong with a Kubota, and great dealer service.

Overall This is one excellent tractor with great features for the money. Buy it, you'll be glad you did!

Strengths What an amazing tractor. I've spent many hours on all sizes and shapes of equipment- this tractor is exceptional. It's used in the woods for logging, plowing snow, building roads, and digging. Hydraulic output is exceptional. Turning radius is very tight- good on lawns or use ring chains and lock in the rear- it'll go anywhere.

Strengths HST Plus is great. The days of the tractor stall are history. A total pleasure to operate because of its ease of use, smoothness, comfort and relative quietness. Handles and steers great. Very strong and a good size.

Weaknesses None that I have noticed so far. However, it is still in tractor age practically new.

Overall This is an excellent tractor that I think anyone will like experienced or not. So far I couldn't be happier with it for my 12 acres. It's like the Lexus of compact tractors.
